This hotel really aims to please. Every employee from the desk to the bellman was friendly and courteous. We were upgraded upon arrival and given a welcome bag with water and snacks. Shower pressure and internet was good. There were plenty of plugs/outlets.

We could NOT have been happier with our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. From the moment Ed escorted my wife back to the car to ensure I knew where to park, his helping us with our bags and his "you're-with-family-here" cheerfulness, through the delightful service and entertainment in the bar at the end of the evening, to Steven's gracious...

This time I was in and out for a quick night but previously I stayed at this hotel for a very lengthy business stay. They were great to me before so I chose to come back. The front desk staff is great and really welcoming!

We love this hotel and have stayed here many times. The location is terrific for lower Manhattan its just below Canal St on 6th Ave. The hotel sits atop the A/C/E subway station on Canal St, which also houses a transit police station. You can also walk easily to Soho, Tribeca and Chinatown/Little Italy. Very clean rooms and a great...

I've stayed at this hotel twice; both times have been a pleasure. From the warm greeting I received despite arriving very late (2:00 AM) to the extremely clean underground fitness center (small, but well equipped), this hotel more than covers the bases. The rooms may be standard Hilton Garden Inn, but every member of the staff I encountered during the...

Hotel has great location in NYC. There is a subway station right outside of the hotel and another line a block away. There was cold...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
