Well positioned, at Times Square, large one bedroom apartment with everything we needed. Great staff and coffee available upstairs until 11.00am. This service could be continued later in the day. Close to Tonys Italian restaurant on 43 rd. (through the car park) which was excellent.
The staff are what makes these apartments standout. Nothing is too much trouble and they are a wealth of knowledge. The apartments are roomy clean and the newly renovated bathrooms are just wonderful. The AKA is perfectly situated to Time square literally just steps away....More

we ususally stay in hotels when in nyc but this time - travelling with the whole family of six - instead of booking three rooms in a pricy hotel we opted for a more family friendly alternative and found the aka via google.
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We went to whole foods which was a close walk and got most of the things we wanted, but we were just looking for breakfast foods. The whole foods is ok - lots of things were not stocked and they were extremely busy and very expensive! But it worked for us with getting a little bit of cereal, eggs, juice, etc. We used the Walgreens in Times Square for pop, water, and they also have fresh fruit and sandwiches. We noticed that AKA received a lot of deliveries while we were there that week! Wish we would have thought to do use a service such as Fresh Direct or Amazon! Enjoy your stay...Caesar is a wonderful resource and a great guy to talk to. He will point you in the right direction for restaurants and things to do!
