Well situated for opera lovers. The room and bathroom were small but of good quality and comfortable. There was a problem with the smell of the room. Perhaps smoking had been allowed there although it smelled of strong disinfectant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The real ' deal breaker' is the Hotels mean charging practices. The water in the...

Location is perfect! Such a fun place to stay. Stayed four times this year and going back in March. Staff was helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the air conditioning the evening we arrived and it was taken care of by the time we got back from dinner. It is a happening place and I look forward to...

Having a less than stellar experience right now at The Empire Hotel. First off, Wifi charged at $10 per day per device. I thought for sure this was a joke, but nope, this is the case. My first room reeked of smoke, so I called down thinking they put me in a smoking room. They don't have smoking rooms apparently...

Do not choose this hotel if you require internet access. I stay in 20-30 hotels a year in the US, Europe and Middle East and haven't encountered the phoney wifi problem in a couple of years. That's when the hotel offers dial up dial speeds that are too slow even for email, while claiming to offer hi-speed Internet access. Apparently,...

The rooms are small but that's normal for a NYC hotel unless you want to pay loads for a suite somewhere! The bar was nice to sit in and this is where the free Wifi was so gets pretty busy. The rooms could do with a lick of paint but was clean that's all that matters to me :)

Located very close to Central Park. Walkable from broadway, Time square. Rooms are small and a bit cramped. Small wash room. Minimum furniture. Sleep quality is ok. Cleanly maintained. Congested dimly lit lobby. Ideal for those who spend entire day out and do not mind a space to sleep safely. Value for money.

Pricey. Views into other people's rooms. Small rooms. Cramped bathrooms. If you like a college room experience with the added extras of listening to your neighbours conversations, TVs, dogs (!?!) and awkward bed noises, you might like this place. However decent spot, next to Central Park and subway isn't too far away.
