Great location , rooms and bathroom small , in need of refurbishment and a good clean.Very busy area of the city , near to Lincoln Centre , good outdoor music venue and close to the park. Not many places to eat in local vicinity of a reasonable price range , all top end price tags . Major plus for the...

This place is such a disaster, it's hard to know where to start. Here's a short list: 1. They charge for everything: parking is $60/day (no in and out); wi-fi is $18/day; the coffee in the room is $3.00 a cup; business center computers/printing--per minute charges; bottles of Evian left on the bedside tables are $8/bottle. 2. 2 of 4...

This hotel has lots of persona and on a great location. Easy and quick access to Central Park and metro to get you anywhere in NYC. Next to the Lincoln center and across quaint small park adds uniqueness.

My suite had a musty smell to it. The throw pillows on the bed and sofa sleeper stinks. Tried to take a picture of the city from my room but the windows were filthy. The room needed a lot of dusting I had to buy air freshner. The size of my suite was awesome and My bellman Eugene was Great!!!

I loved staying here for the location and history of it but $8 for a bottle of water - come on!!! Lovely bathroom products: CO Bigelow - gorgeous! The street side is noisy - ask for a quiet spot. Brekkie in the restaurant was great - fresh food, lots of choice. The buffet choice is hugely adequate. PJ Clarke's -...

Great location to go to Lincoln Center or for some great restaurants across the street or Columbus Circle. Nice staff. The bed was rock hard. The rooms are small. Same with the bathrooms. The shower has a missing glass door so water covers the floor when you shower. Reservations through a Promo sites get you a dark interior room.

The empire has small rooms, and the have 4 areas in each room for you to pay for extras. Water - 6 bucks, a mini bar full off liquor and soda at ridiculous prices - which looks like a fridge, a testy of snacks on the desk, and 3 bucks each for keurig cup. Oh wifi is extra too. For...

After hearing people rave about the rooftop bar (which is actually managed separately from the hotel), I was surprised by how run down this hotel was.
