We got a great deal through expedia for our hotel and flight. The Holiday Inn is a nice hotel. We had a king size bed and the bathroom was modern and very clean. Service overall was excellent - the front desk / concierge were friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well maintained. Some reviewers complained about the slow...

I went on a solo trip to NYC to catch a concert. I'm very picky when it comes to hotel - has to be at least 3 stars and conveniently located. Most hotels in the city would've cost a lot more per night, so it was good value overall. I had 4 nights there, and I was lucky enough to...

My first time in NYC and was made up with this hotel. Yes the rooms arent that big, but they hold two double beds and theres still room to walk about. What do you want in the midldle of a great city without paying silly money for it? The entrance was inviting and welcoming and the staff were amazing. They...

As other reviewers, as well as the hotel management, have noted here, the rooms aren't huge. But do you really need them to be? I did find it funny that the wardrobe wasn't as deep as the hangers, so yes, it didn't close once my things were hung. And truly obese people will not be comfortable maneuvering in the small...

This was a clean, bright and wonderfully located hotel downtown in NYC. It's close to the Flatiron Building, one of my favorites! Also around the corner from Eataly which is a very different kind of experience. You really need the map they give you when you enter the building. I had the best cappuccino and croissant breakfast!!!

We stayed here for 10 days in August. The rooms are tight. The closet could not close because it was shallower than the supplied hangers. There is barely enough room to walk around. They have a great patio on one side of the entrance that we used a lot!! The other side is the entrance to Cafe Prime (which should...

We had booked another hotel for a week in NYC. Because our airline needed to fly us a day earlier, and our booked hotel was unable to accommodate us for the extra night, we booked a single night at this hotel on the basis that it was within walking distance of the other hotel. We had 3 people in the...

this hotel is in midtown Manhattan and is very convenient to visit NYC. Bus stops or subway stations are 1 or 2 blocks from the hotel. The room was clean, somewhat small as in Europe. The bed is comfortable, a little bit soft. AC is relatively quiet and efficient. No fridge or security box are available in room. The bathroom...

We booked a non-smoking room at this hotel for our family of 4 (kids are 11 & 13). We arrived early and were told that rooms weren't ready, but they would keep our luggage. Concierge was very helpful and we went out to tour the town for the day. When we got back that evening, we checked in and went...

Hi Kalajo, and thank you for your honest review. While we do attempt to honor each and every room type that is reserved, at times we are presented with certain challenges. I suspect this was the case here. Please email me directly at gm@hi-nyc.com so that I may take a closer look at this situation. I hope to make it...

Stayed for three nights at this hotel before flying home. The location was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really very good at a reasonable price. The hotel bar has a ;happy hour' from mid afternoon to 9p.m. every day with amazing reductions on drinks. The only down size...
