There is no way this hotel is legal. Fire exits were blocked with ladders and mops. Rooms are smaller than a jail cell. They are position walls with no ceiling so not even a real room. A girl would feel very unsafe here. Never ever stay at this hotel it would be better to stay on street

I read all the horrible reviews, but booked a room after I could not find another for the one night I needed. What a bunch of whiners. This place was fine. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. There was no smell in the bathroom, hallways, or room. The room was basic and small, but the bed was fine and everything...

this place is not a hotel, motel or hostel. IT IS A HOMELESS SHELTER. I have stayed in all types of rooms in my life. I have been to high end hotels, cheap motels, travel hostels, and even shelters throughout the country. Some of the homeless shelters SMELL BETTER than this place. The front desk guy was a joke. He...

You get what you pay for it. You stay in a box without windows. You have to wait to use the share stinky bathroom. I wonder why it is called a hotel. I did not enjoy the experience even with the low price.

I booked this place back in November of 2011 not knowing what I was in for. When you arrive you are greeted by rude, nasty front desk personnel. This place is a dump... It seems as if the 5th floor is used only for tourist, in and out guests, and the lower floors are rented out to NY residents. Let...

Stayed here just one night on Christmas. It shouldn't have the name "hotel" as it looks more like a prison, a poultry farm or even a concentration camp. My floor consisted of a big room full of extremely tiny male rooms with no ceiling, like a beehive. It was too hot even to sleep. Funny smells everywhere. I don't know...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
