Both places were very spacious & beautifully updated. They were both very comfortable with air conditioning, ceiling fans, large screen TV's &...

We spent 5 nights in the very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped 2nd floor apartment. The location is fantastic, with many wonderful restaurants, cafes and bakeries close by and, of course, the amazing Chelsea Market. The High Line is a short walk away, and trips to other parts of Manhattan are undertaken with ease. The neighbourhood is great, and the welcome...

We spent a lovely few days here, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The location is perfect, and a great welcome from Karen. The area has great restaurants and bars, and you're a short walk from the subway. Want to be there right now!

Stayed one week here as a family on the 2 nd floor apartment. Spacious for our family of four. Private room for the adults and the kids used the pull out coach that was very comfortable. Good kitchen for food preparation. Close to the Highline,Chelsea market and a easy walk to Time square.

We stayed here for 7 nights in January in one of the apartments upstairs. We absolutely loved the location. It is surrounded by fantastic restaurants and Chelsea Markets just down the road. You could actually spend a whole week eating in the neighbourhood and not have to leave once! The apartment was great. A good size for our family of...

On a recent visit to NYC, we spent 4 nights at this nice spot. Unfortunately, the weather was not conducive for spending time in the lovely garden, but it was pleasant to open the blinds and look at the setting. The apartment we occupied is located below street level, typical of Manhattan brownstones. The space is clean, large and contains...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
