The staff were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a pleasant stay for a medical reason. I would definitely utilize this facility again in the future. The room was a good size and kept well.

If you have a need for an overnight stay for nearby hospitals...this is it. Reasonably priced for NYC, clean, and a short walk to nearby medical facilities. Upgraded rooms on 12th floor are nicely furnished and have a convenient, fully equipped kitchen. Staff is friendly, and they promptly care for your room. Hotel offers discounted parking. My wife had knee replacement surgery requiring a few days stay at Hospital for Special Surgery. Since we live in New Jersey it was most convenient for us to stay at the guest facility especially since we had to be admitted very early in the morning. We found everything very satisfactory and will recommend the guest facility to anyone

I've stayed in motel 6 units that were better and much cheaper. At least it was right next to HSS. Junk pulled up in the lobby and halls. Heater was jammed on max. A cup of apple cider is poor compensation.

It's stressful enough to be facing surgery, so we have learned to eliminate the "morning of" stress by staying close to the hospital the night before (no commuting worries). This facility is not just for NY Presbyterian patients -- you can stay here if you're a patient or family of anyone affiliated with a NY medical institution, and it is...

The New York Presbyterian Guest Facility has the best prices in the area. They have very helpful and friendly staff. They are close to all hospitals and doctors in the area. I will stay here in the future and would recommend it to anyone needing to stay close to anyone of the 4 hospitals in the area.

The hotel is excellent for anyone that needs to be near the upper east side hospitals. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem was that it was difficult to control the heat and the room became very hot at night.

The NY Presbyterian was roomy enough to spread out while my dad undergoes treatment at Sloan Kettering nearby. With a table and a desk I am able to work at one and then eat at the other. The small kitchen with all the supplies needed for meal prep allows us to eat in, like we are at home. The staff...

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
