This was our first trip to NYC and I was so looking forward to staying in a smaller and more personal feeling guesthouse. Unfortunately, what we got was an odd dose of head games and half truths via our communication with the owner, Evelyn.
We stayed on the second floor Parlor apapatment: a big spacious room with a kitchen. The room is old and has its original heating and wide-plank wooden floors. Bathroom has a good shower. The host hung fresh-baked scones and brioches on our door in the...More
We stayed ten nights at The Jones Street Guesthouse, an old brownstone house in the West Village part of New York. We never found out how old it is, but probably 75 to 100 years, and it retains most of its heritage appearance. The entrance...More

We had a lovely stay at Jones Street Guesthouse. We enjoyed how easy it was to access everything - restaurants, subway, interesting shops. We really liked feeling as though we were in the middle of everything, (including the Pride parade, which was on while we...More
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.

I just looked there and saw that the only availability during the time you want is for three nights - Dec, 7, 8, and 9.
