Terrific stay at the Excelsior. Lovely room, large for NYC! Had a small, separate sitting room. Bed was very comfortable. My husband wants me to find out who makes their mattresses. Bathroom was small, standard NYC hotel size but adequate and well stocked. VERY quiet....More
It was the second time we were staying at the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful when we've discovered that we accidently ordered one single bed instead of two separate and find us a great solution without extra charge.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms (amazingly comfortable beds!). The bathrooms are a little dated in style only, but they are clean and the shower had good water pressure.
