We have made the Kimberly our go to hotel in New York. We travel to the city at least twice a year. The location is central. The Kimberly combines the essence of a five star hotel with a boutique feel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is an excellent hotel in a...

If you are visiting New York, stay at the Kimberley Hotel. As soon as you come through the entrance, the ambiance hits you, it is warm, homely, classy and above all the staff are World Class. Breakfast in the PH rooftop do not miss it, in the evening enjoy a lively atmosphere with views just to remind you where in...

From unloading the car to checkout, the staff were without exception courteous, thoughtful, professional, and polished. I traveled with a couple and we booked 2 separate rooms, and both were upgraded to suites, which were quite spacious and luxurious. We were greeted each time we entered the lobby, whether from the elevator or outside. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable,...

Took the family up for an extended weekend getaway and stayed here. My son has a prosthetic leg so we asked for a handicap suite with no tub. We ended up staying on the second floor which was unfortunate for road noise but considering the normal noise of NYC this was totally minimal. The room was very large especially for...

Booked a room here after reading the rave TA reviews and was not disappointed. From the smiling staff, the beautiful round aquarium in the lobby to the nicely appointed, nicely furnished large clean room, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The PH offers food and beverages throughout the day (during the day, complimentary tea and coffee and small pastries are available...

The check in process was pretty quick . The room was very nice, clean plenty of towels . Even had some small snacks for...

This hotel is beautiful. My name is Kimberly and I received a free plush robe. The Executive Suite was spacious and luxurious. The staff is very friendly and check in was quick and easy. The rooftop bar is amazing and romantic, great view of the Chrysler building. The rooftop is a nice way to end the evening. We cannot wait...

I have stayed at the Kimberly before (and reviewed it here) but I feel that a new review is in order, since my most recent stay was so much better than before. The room we stayed in appeared to have been recently renovated, and the HVAC was much quieter than before. The other things we love about the Kimberly (nice...

Had an excellent stay in December. Only one night to see the Christmas decorations and lights. Hotel is exceptionally clean and everyone was very accommodating. Will definitely return. It's also a quick Uber-ride to Grand Central.

With the remodeling of The Kimberly, we tried at again, this time with a large suite (bedroom, livingroom, 'kitchenette'). This hotel is well-located at E. 50th between 3rd Ave & Lexington, with easy access to the Metro. With very nice amenities (great bedding, towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, etc.) and a kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fridge and stocked well with...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. Our mattresses are covered with feather beds and decked with Frette linens, which earn comments such as "I didn't want to get up" from our guests. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
