Stayed at The Kimberly from 8th January 2014 for 6 days. Arrived a little early but our room was available straight away. We had booked a Deluxe Room and was upgraded to an Executive Room which was really lovely. Very spacious room with Super King size bed. Lovely bathroom with separate toilet, shower room and double sink. This hotel is...

I have just spent 10 days at the Kimberly with my sister and daughter. We took a junior suite which suited us perfectly. The hotel is well located for sightseeing and, most importantly our room, while having no view, was absolutely quiet at night. The staff were, on the whole, helpful although they did persist in turning the couch into...

Despite the rain in New York on a mid January day, our stay at The Kimberly Hotel in midtown Manhattan was wonderful! Although we were there for a business function that night, it felt like a vacation. This award winning hotel feels like coming home. The entire staff is smiling and welcoming and the boutique property is lovely. Each unit...

This fantastic luxury boutique hotel is perfect for anyone on a New York business trip or if a tourist. It’s a great Midtown location and close proximity to whatever you may want to do. The hotel is safe, clean and very comfortable. The rooms are much larger than typical New York Hotels with comfy beds and high quality linens. I...

It's located right around the corner from Waldorf Astoria & The Rockefeller Center, 10 mins walk from Times square and Central Park Love this place Will always use it...

We stayed it the Luxury One Bedroom Suite and it was indeed luxurious. Everything in the room is first class and high-end. If you are staying in the right room you may even have a view of the Chrysler building. If you do not have one of these rooms, go to the "upstairs" restaurant for breakfast or evening drink. The...

My husband and I stayed her for 4 days over Christmas and couldn't have had a better time. Our room had wonderful views and was so quiet we didn't hear any traffic or our neighbors. This is an excellent hotel situated close to many attractions. The room quality was very good with elegant british furniture. The highlight was the breakfast room on around the 60th floor. The food was very good and the view was even better. The only small detail we did not like was that the hotel had a large Lincoln Continental car...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. Our mattresses are covered with feather beds and decked with Frette linens, which earn comments such as "I didn't want to get up" from our guests. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
