I would definitely recommend staying here. A short walk to the subway where we purchased a pass for the whole week. A big shop across the road Fairway which had everything we needed. The staff here were amazing especially the doorman. Thus is a 10/10 hotel.

A block from the 1,2 or 3 subway line, surrounded by restaurants and across from a supermarket, can see the Hudson from the upper floors. Suite Room was huge and had a kitchen with full size fridge and functioning gas stove plus microwave. Elevator was fast, check in and check out fast, rooms quiet and tv easy to work, what...

Living an hour away from NYC, my husband and I had tickets to a concert at the Beacon Theater and wanted to make a weekend out of it. The Hotel Beacon is right next door and was perfect. Our room was spacious (bigger than the apartment we had when we lived in the city) with a kitchenette, a separate living...

We were happy to find this hotel in our old neighborhood for a trip back to NY. The staff were the perfect amount of friendly and helpful. I thought the price was great considering it's so well located on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The hotel is a short walk to Strawberry Fields in Central Park. We stayed in a Queen...

Well located in the quieter Upper West Side. This hotel is excellent for families staying a few nights, offering big rooms and kitchens. Fairway market across the street and Central Park just a few blocks away.

My family of 5 stayed at the Hotel Beacon for our long weekend in NYC and we couldn't have asked for anything better! We reserved a 2-bedroom suite which includes a family room and kitchen -- it is all you need. So relaxing after running around enjoying the city all day and night. Grocery store across the street has everything,...

Our family visits New York at least a few times a year and other than one stay in SoHo we always stayed in Midtown. We had thought "what could be better than being in the middle of everything?". Well, now we know - the Upper West Side. We chose the Hotel Beacon because it is close to the Museum of...

We had a very nice King bed room with a small kitchenette (fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig). Fridge was great for keeping beverages and restaurant leftovers. Quiet room facing 75th street. Only complaint was the bathroom was too small--otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

My daughter and I enjoyed a little spring break girl's getaway stay at this nice hotel. We had a big two bedroom/two bath suite with a living/dining area and full kitchen. It was a corner unit, so we had some fun views through our many huges windows - Broadway, 75th street and a peak at the Hudson River. Everything was...

Warm welcome from front desk, hotel a tad tired in parts, but perhaps things others may not notice. Location is fantastic, one of my favourite bits of the city and very close to the subway. First room we had - issue with smell in bathroom. Eventually rectified. Then an unwanted visitor in the bath (think it came in via shower)....
