Hotel is basic, more a motel feel really. Well worn but exceptionally clean, great price, comfy double beds (2 in our room so could have taken 4 adults if you really wanted to share) and in a great spot for seeing all the sights in...More
We were VERY happy with our stay. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kids loved swimming in the pool at night --- with an incredible view of the skyline. It was close to everything and an incredible value. Will return on our next...More
Just came from a stay at the Skyline; we stayed in the new section which was clean, quiet and and very pleasant. We got on the wrong elevator at first and walked the halls of the older section which looked somewhat dated. The view was...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I do not remember if there was a specific check out time; but we found the staff to be very helpful and flexible to meet different client needs. As per another comment, I can confirm that during our stay at the hotel, our suitcases were stored in a safe place after the official check out time, to allow us to do more sightseeing, before leaving for the airport to catch our onward United flight to Washington DC. It would be advisable to check before, perhaps by email, or most certainly to ask on arrival at the hotel, when checking in. All I can say is that we found all the hotel staff very accommodating when meeting our specific needs. Hope that this helps a little.
