Okay little place for the money, but I had a bad experience with bed bugs. I had five bites on my arm, and even caught one little guy in the act...gross. Beware room 407.

I just got back from a 3 day stay in NYC and have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of my accommodations. On the strength of other Trip Advisor reviews and a glancing recommendation from a friend, I went ahead and booked a room at the Park Savoy. Yes, the rooms are tiny. Yes, the elevator...

My return to The Park Savoy Hotel was excellent! I made reservations directly through the hotel after my last visit on October 2007. I had requested room #804 because it was a good size room with two great windows and the lady servicing my room did a great job, was very friendly and the Pizza at the restaurant next door...

Nice little hotel just outside of Central Park. It is quite small but the price and location more than compensates for it. The staff was friendly and kept our rooms in good shape. The elevator is slow so my companions ended up taking the stairs most of the time. There's a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Overall a cute...

After reading the reviews on your site, I thought this would be a perfectly acceptable hotel for our needs. Our son was singing at Carnegie Hall with his school, and my husband and I just wanted to slip into town for two nights. The location was perfect for this with Carnegie Hall just around the corner. We found the desk...

We stayed for a week on September, 2007. The room is very tiny but very clean and the furniture seemed to be new. After shooping and with a lot of bags it is hard to move. The bathroom is even tiner than the room. The breakfast is just a few croisants, bagels and muffins with coffee and milk inside the...

This hotel is in the perfect location. We walked to everything. Yes, it is A NO FRILLS HOTEL, but the rooms are very very clean and the beds are comfortable. We asked for a room on a lower floor to avoid problems with the elevator and the water pressure as reported in previous posts. It proved to be a very...

We chose this hotel based on previous Trip Advisor reviews and stayed for a week in March 2008. We paid $165 per night for a room with two double beds. The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Yes we had problems with the shower running hot and cold however over the course...

I don't know why this hotel ranks so low. As long as you know you're in a budget hotel, it is a wonderful place. In searching for a reasonably priced place in NYC, I looked at almost all of the hotels and B&B's listed in TripAdvisor. Coming from Canada, I was surprised to find that most of the budget hotels...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
