I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Belleclair. I have always been the kind of person who gravitates towards staying in large hotel chains because you know what to expect. Therefore, I was hesitant to stay in a local hotel. However, it was great and I will definitely stay there many more times. I visit the upper West... More

We stayed here and were very pleased with the location. On the corner of W. 77th. and Broadway. 2 -3 blocks from the main subway stations, 3 blocks from museums and central park. 2 blocks from the start of the Macy's parade. They blow up the balloons Wednesday on this street by the museum. Very close to restaurants, markets and... More

Looking at the other reviews, it seems as though there are two different hotels within these walls! Our experience was good, but we are experiences travelers and we know what to ask for. When we checked in they were very friendly and helpful and showed us upstairs to a room across the hall from the elevators. No thank you! We... More

We have stayed at the Belleclaire several times and truly enjoy the hotel. Staff is very helpful, and the room is always clean and fresh! Close to family and activities on the west end. We are already booked for Christmas!

Book another hotel . We staid in this hotel for a week and I don't think iv ever slept as bad . The room was tiny with a modern bathroom with both cases in the room it was hard to mover around . The a/c was stuck out the window so the cold was unbearable at times . There was... More

My partner and I always stay at the Belleclaire when we're in NYC. The location is perfect on the upper west side, a short walk from the subway. The rooms are always clean and the service has been great. There's a good little corner shop right next door and plenty of places to eat if you don't fancy room service.... More

The room we were originally provided was not the room they advertised in the booking. I booked the room in March so there was no need to give us a room of lesser value than what I booked and paid for. The room was not cheap. It advertised spacious which we could barely walk between the beds. The advertising stated... More

Loved the Broadway King. It was a great space. Loved the location and the hot chocolate. And the proximity to Zabars! Minor issues: room was a bit warm despite turning off the heat, fridge didn't work and needed replacement, shower pressure was a bit weak. But overall great and our go to when staying in the upper west side.

This is our send visit to the Bellclaire and, once again, it's been a very enjoyable one. The staff are helpful, friendly and attentive; the location is ideal for the opera, Central Park and the museum's.

This a charming hotel in an excellent location on the upper west side. It has everything within walking distance. The staff are what makes this hotel wonderful. The room we stayed in was ok. I would not stay in Room 314. It is right next to the elevator- so you hear foot traffic all the time; the radiator made banging... More
