This is a hotel of character and could be great but it needs a little TLC. We chose the Hotel Belleclaire as it is one street down from family and we were only there for one night. We checked in very late but the night receptionist was friendly and efficient. It is worth noting there is no bar so we...

The belleclaire hotel is in a good location on the upper Westside very close to the subway and just a few stops to times square and direct lines to downtown and uptown. There are a few local restaurants and shops close by and a CVS just across the road. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are modern and...

I loved the hotel. It is old and charming. Everything is small, which is to be expected due to the age of the building. The bed was very comfortable with high quality pillows. I wouldn't change a thing except for the water pressure. It was so low it was difficult to take a shower.

I stayed four nights. My room was small but very cozy and perfectly adequate for one person. I loved the bed, very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and always clean. I found the housekeeping exceptional. The staff was friendly and made my stay very enjoyable. I have already recommended the hotel to my friends who will be visiting NYC in...

We loved Hotel Belleclaire. It was the perfect spot for families. It was within walking distance of the subway and restaurants, Central Park, Museum of Natural History. It was in a safe and clean neighborhood. Spacious rooms. Perfect for our family. The staff was very helpful when we had questions or needed help getting to the airport. It was the...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 days on the outward leg of our 12 day trip to the states. This was a very reasonably priced hotel, everything worked. The staff were great, the rooms clean and a number of delis and restaurants in the area to keep us fed. Close to the Subway, central park and the Hudson this was...

What a pleasant surprise it was to enjoy the amenities at the Belleclaire on a dreary and rainy Spring night. The room, although small, was immaculately clean. The linens were topnotch and the choice to have a feather pillow made dreamtime even better. The bathroom had been updated and we liked the new hardwood floors, which added to the feeling...

Just off of Broadway I enjoyed my stay there. Like a lot of NY hotels there is not breakfast included, but plenty of options nearby. The coffee bar in the hotel is reasonable and also serves croissants. I preferred to go around the corner though. The room was clean pleasantly styled, a small enough en suite, but that's to be...

I can't really think about anything I didn't like about the Belleclaire. Exceptional welcoming staff, an unusually large room, charm, location, convenience. We were traveling with teenagers and were looking for a hotel with some separation in sleeping areas and booked here for that reason. Happily, we were upgraded to a family suite on arrival with two bedrooms and plenty...
