The Hotel Edison is a lovely hotel in a great location, right next to Times Square!. The staff are great, hotel is very secure and the room whilst small was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We booked a Signature King room which I would recommend as they...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I recently stayed at the hotel Edison. I must say I was worried by some of the reviews detailing peeling wallpaper and stained carpet before I arrived. I arrived in the evening, my room was ready and I checked in with no problem. My room was fine... it wasn't a new room but it was clean and comfortable. If there...

Location, location, location - on west 47th between 7th and 8th, Hotel Edison is right beside Times Square so the location is hard to beat. Nice open reception area, and friendly and efficient staff (front desk, concierge, room cleaners all were fine); the room was small but the bed was okay. The drawbacks here - no in-room coffee maker, tiny...

The Edison is right in the middle of Times Square nightlife and shows. It's a busy hotel. The rooms have been redone and are very comfortable. I stayed in room 1718 and liked it. Shower was great with plenty of towels and product. LG tvs are really special. The front desk staff is very helpful.

Really good location, but some of the rooms just look onto each other so no other view except other rooms, so little privacy which is a shame or not depending on how you look at it. @@ Rooms are small and the bathrooms are really tiny. Probably the smallest I have seen given that I have travelled world wide. So...

If you are looking to be in heart of it all and are on somewhat of a budget, this is the place. Born in NYC and visit often for work and play, I think I'm just spent on the whole T.S. thing. I spent part of my working career on 46 and B'dway as well, so I'm kinda over it....

We stayed here 7 nights, top floor room 2215 once we'd paid $40USD/day upgrade fee. But that was worthwhile. The location is SO HANDY, a mere 100m from Duffy Square and Times Square, so we could easy escape from there back to our room when the crowds/heat became too much. A classic American hotel from the 1930s, opened by Mr...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
