We stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is in a great location and the 8th floor suite we had was really good. Big, well equipped and very clean. The lobby staff were very friendly and very helpful. The only disappointment was the continental breakfast. Very basic more reminiscent of a budget hotel; choice of jelly was more often than...

We recently stayed at The Blakely Hotel in New York for 3 nights. We travelled with our 2 young children. Our room was located in the 4th floor, it had 2 double beds. The room was a nice size with a kitchenette area (fridge, coffee maker, microwave). The bedrooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. We could hear the...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The first thing they did, without my asking, was upgrade us to a junior suite. The room was large and spacious by New York standards, the beds and linens were lovely, the bathroom and mini kitchen were modern, upscale, of excellent quality, and everything was very clean and worked perfectly. We truly...

We really enjoyed in the Blakely as firstly our room was upgraded to a king size, free Wi-Fi, great bathroom and air con and friendly atmosphere in hotel. Location was brilliant as there is a subway on the street which makes the airport a breeze. Times Square and Central Park are a lovely stroll length away. This was our best...

Good location and the room was large by NYC standards. We were only here for three nights and I was very tired when we arrived so the first night was OK. Once I was back in the game I found the room was not real comfortable. The bed was not real comfortable and the bedding was very uncomfortable. The A/C...

Just returned from a week at The Blakely booked through Snique Away. We stayed in a mini-suite with king bed, living area and kitchenette. Staff were very courteous and helpful- makes for a welcoming, homey kind of vibe. Location is ideal and room was beautiful. Sedan transport to and from airport is available for $50, same price as taxi and...

Friendly helpful staff , no noise, very clean, no more money than everything else in area, i pre-paid through a service and got a better rate. Not as much view as some places on times Square but we were well pleased...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
