We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The rooms were a nice size. They were updated and clean. We had a small refrigerator and two double beds in our room. The bathroom was a decent size with a step in shower. The check in process went quickly and smoothly. As a gold passport member I was able...

I changed into 3 different rooms and every room is extremely dusty. I asked for a purifier and the purifier was full of dust, more than the rest of the room itself. Housekeeping management must be terrible.

The shower/tub had a lot of hair in it when we arrived, which was disgusting. Housekeeping never showed to clean the room, so we insisted on changing rooms. Never had this experience at this hotel before.

I say unexpectedly because of all the negative reviews below, but it surprised us. We had stayed at the Time hotel in times sq (3 nights)and the Gild hall in wall Street (3 nights) before we arrived at the Hyatt and this was probably better than those overall. Only because It was larger and smarter and in a great location....

We were here for a dance convention, filled with dancers and their parents. They kept the hotel nice and clean. The room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Nice large flat screen tv. No microwave, no in room coffee, and only one small drawer. The bathroom was awkward. The toilet was so close to the tub your knees practically touched...

This hotel is next to Grand Central Station, which makes it very convenient as you don't have to go outside to take a train. The hotel rooms are good, although the furniture are a bit wear out. Service at the bar tables is slow, recommend seating at the bar.

The location of this hotel, right next to Grand Central Station, is outstanding. The accommodations leave much to be desired. I was in an "executive" room but there was no desk or work space in the room. The "free" Internet was very slow. There was no coffee pot in the room, but I could get one small "free" house coffee...

This was our third stay here and we love it. The location could not be better and is one of the main reasons we stay here. The accommodations are always top notch and the rooms are quite large by NYC standards.

It really is a beautiful hotel and location cant be beat for someone that is coming to the city for work or pleasure. The issue comes from the staff. I had maintenece teams banging, drilling, and working on elevators at or before 7am for my ENTIRE stay. I just think that for a hotel that is soo focused on being...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
