The Hotel is well situated surrounded by Theatres The room was good sized clean more than adequate with the proviso that the bathroom had a porcelain soap dish about the height of my head I knocked my head four times during a seven day stay on the part jutting out This is an accident waiting to happen and could cost...

Huge hotel with classy service and amenities. The front desk staff STEVE was very accommodating and went out of his way to check us in earlier. We had checked out of the nearby Crowne Plaza hotel which had no functioning hot water. Much cleaner than the Crowne Plaza and front desk staff, cleaning staff, and restaurant staff were very friendly. We...

Been to NYC several times and wouldn't choose to stay in Times Square but conference dictated. I found the hotel very impersonal, there are 1800 rooms, and I guess that's part of the issue, but it really is tired and needing some money spent on it. It looks like it was last done some time in the eighties or nineties....

Excellent location! Great service! Would love to stay there again. Once you get the hang of the elevators, its easy to get around. The location was excellent for shows and walking around. Great restaurants nearby. Lilly at check in was a great help!

We stayed here during spring break in 2016. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and amazing. The fitness center is state of the art, large, and has a breathtaking view of Times Square. So easy to walk to and from the subways and centrally located in Time Square. I would love to go back just for the Sunday brunch!!

What a pleasant surprise. While attending a three day conference with over 1,000 fellow colleagues in the heart of Time Square, I never expected to experience the well run efficiencies of such a grand property. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, clean and functional (including a 'huge' HDTV). The conference space was outstanding and the movement/accommodations for the entire...

I attended a conference that was held at this hotel. Staying where the conference is held is incredibly convenient but conference rates, to me, always seem to be inflated. $300/night + tax. Surely an amenity should be included for that price. I received 2 double beds when I asked for a king, I was never acknowledged at check-in as an...

Wonderful place to stay.easy access to all of New YorkCity. Times Square is such a great place to stay. Easy to get to all theatres. starbucks should stay open later. Like the elevator system very much. Hardly and waiting.

Right in the middle of Times Square, so you're right in the middle of everything. You can walk to all theaters and most of the good restaurants in the city. Rooms are spacious, unlike most NYC hotels. Nice coffee/pastry shop on 8th floor, for morning coffee and breakfast. Sit-down restaurant if you want more, and revolving rooftop restaurant if desired.

We have stayed at this particular Marriott many times in the past. It is usually an excellent experience. This time, however, the breakfast in the concierge room was substandard. The eggs and breakfast meat were borderline cold and not at all appetizing. This was disappointing for us as we usually look forward to having breakfast there to start our day....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

“Ask for a higher floor to avoid some of the street noise. Beds are full size, so can be small. It's worth it for the location. ”

“The junior suite was perfect for 2 children and 2 adults. A lot of room, electric outlets and places for luggage. Thank you for he coffee maker...a needed luxury that some hotels in NYC have stopped providing. Bathrobes were also appreciated. Again, thanks to Carla! Loved the cupcakes and all her meal suggestions!”

“Double, Double rooms/suites are two double beds, not queen size. However, the suites have a sofa and loveseat in the living area that both make into beds. At busy times, the elevators can be slow, so allow enough time if you have a reservation somewhere.”
