If I could give this place a zero, I would. Checked in on 7/13 and then on 7/15, I realized that two pair of very expensive glasses were missing from our room. One pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and one pair of prescription Tom Ford...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Hello, I just contacted the hotel front desk and explained your situation. They claim you must have a credit card in hand for incidentals. I asked if you could leave a cash deposit for incidentals and she claimed they couldn't accept a cash deposit, they need a credit card. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad new but this was supposedly information relayed by the manager on duty.
My recommendation would be to contact the hotel directly, preferably by phone, email
otherwise, and explain your situation. I find it hard to believe a hotel wouldn't let you stay because you don't have a credit card. Hopefully, you can get their upper management involved and resolve your situation satisfactorily. Good Luck!
