After the 3rd try my room (1st room had double beds (I specifically requested a king bed) and smelled like bleach, 2nd room immediately beside the elevators with turbines humming outside the window) on the 24th floor was nice, clean and the overall location close to 5th avenue shops but ridiculously small with no refrigerator or anything else. Not sure...

I am platinum at Marriott and have stayed at their hotels all over the world. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I used mobile check in. When I arrived at the hotel the two rooms were not ready after waiting in line for 15 minutes. There was no one at the...

If you want a "cool" hotel during the summer, try another one. Our room was miserably hot after numerous complaints. While the hotel is in a great location, it not the Marriott standard we are accustomed to receiving. Room was tiny, no coffee maker unless you ask for one, bed was hard like an ironing board, and pillows deflated. Best...

Just completing a stay from the 8th to the 30th of July here at this exceptional hotel. Not only being well situated, the staff, service, cleanliness, and beautiful room made it one of the most enjoyable stays I ever had. Home away from home!!!

I had a one night stay at the Lexington in June for business. As a Marriott Platinum member and a regular at the Renaissance and Courtyard UES, I found the room ridiculously small for the >700 rate (with taxes). The lack of a concierge lounge and the half-hearted free breakfast contributed to the sense of being fleeced by the hotel....

As the name suggests, this hotel is right on Lexington, Midtown. Easy access to public transport, restaurants and shops. As part of the autograph collection it is a boutique style hotel. I say "former", because I have discovered a "new world" of lesser known hotels with...

The usual tiny room but decent business hotel. Did notice the "lobby activities" one evening - pretty obvious "escort" activity. It is amazing to me that hotels do not provide wi-fi for free nowadays - it is actually beyond me. Not very strategic on the part of management. Room was clean - nothing extraordinary.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
