Great hotel if you enjoy the energy of the city. 1/2 block from TKTS. Many great restaurants in the area and all the Broadway shows are a short walk away. Comfy bed, clean, with blackout drapes to "turn off" the lights of Times Square.
I read another review that stated Very Impersonal. We weren't treated like that at all. But then again, I'm very polite and personable with everyone whether they work there or not. In fact I can tell you that I walked in to the check-in on...More

We were in midtown for just one night to see a show. The hotel is extremely convenient to all the Broadway theaters, but especially the Walter Kerr, where Bruce Springsteen is doing a show. We were on the 4th floor over 7th Avenue, and I...More

Midtown / Times Square / Theater District / Manhattan
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I always use Viator. Very easy to book online. Number of options available. Usually I use a share shuttle bus and even though there are various drop off points en route to the hotel it is usually quite expeditious. I find that it is convenient and a good price. Incidently, I use Viator a lot on my international travels and find them very reliable.
