Hotel was OK, not what we expected it to be, free WiFi for only 3 hours is a bit pointless if your staying for 4 days. Location is fantastic and was very quiet which is surprising for the middle of Times Square. Room only and the price of food is a bit steep but there is places to eat all...

Recently spent four nights here on a Spring Break trip with my teenage daughter. You can't beat the location. You are steps from all the Broadway Shows and an easy subway ride to anywhere. I can't say enough about the concierge service. Jill and Omar were amazing! They offered maps, advice and reservation service. Omar offered to send up hot...

What can I say that the title does not. The location in the middle of Times Square is excellent and it is a very nicely appointed contemporary hotel. We had a great time and will probably stay there next trip.

I recently stayed two weeks at the Renaissance Hotel at Times Square. I was on government travel and there were not many hotels available at the government rate despite being off-season. Having not been to NYC in years, I googled the location and the map is a bit deceptive. It makes it look like the hotel is two blocks from...

We stayed at the Renaissance hotel for a 5 night break, it's in the perfect location for a city break, close to everything you need. Rooms are lovely, nice big shower and one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in. As you arrive in the lobby, you're met by modern decor...we're in our 30's and prefer boutique-style hotels than...

As a regular of the Marquis, I decided to give the Renaissance a try because of a much better rate, and I am glad I did as I know have a comfortable second option for stays in NYC. First of all, this is a much smaller property, much more like a boutique hotel, and I found this translated into a...

Stayed here for a few nights before and after a recent Caribbean cruise. The hotel was great and in a terrific location for all the sights. Beautiful, big bedroom overlooking Times Square. Most of the staff were brilliant, the doorman, reception staff, housekeeper and a fabulous concierge (Omar) who was extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside was the barman...

Staff was helpful and courteous. The room was lovely, bed comfortable, bathroom very nice. As a premier cardholder we also got a contiental breakfast which was very nice in the R Lounge overlooking Time Square. We were central to all the things we were looking for.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
