I am just back a couple of days from NYC and really wanted to take the time to write this review as we had such a great stay! First off there was 3 of us that went and 2 of us had big birthdays (50th and 60th). Upon arrival we were bowled over by the beautiful decor in the lobby...

Four hours of pain travelling from LaGuardia Airport. Two hours of traffic Traffic, then our shuttle hit a BMW and things got worse from there. Eugenia checked me in. She is great. Very happy, very helpful and turned the day around for me. Thank you Eugenia!!

Excellent stay at the Stewart ( formerly Affinia Manhattan ) with a refreshed attitude brought about by new management. This property is one of the hidden gems of Midtown with a convenient location and lots of speedy elevators, big rooms with kitchenettes and outdoor terraces are an added bonus. The front desk is fast and most welcoming - especially Jenny...

WOW!!!! This place is amazing! The staff is incredible and the accommodations are perfect. Let me start at the beginning... This hotel is perfectly positioned at Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. I had been staying at another hotel 6 blocks away that was disgusting, but all I could get last minute on a holiday weekend in NYC. I found...

We had a wonderful stay at the Stewart Hotel. We arrived by train at 10am and were able to check-in immediately. I had booked a standard room and we were upgraded to a mini-suite which was fabulous for my family of 4. I wish I knew the gentleman's name who checked us in, because he deserves a mention, he was...

Staff are very nice. Great location. I come monthly for work. Especially thank Diesel and Margaret. I love the rooms and decor too. Close to everything, food, shopping, and Penn Station. Love the gym. First hotel gym I visited with a stairclimber.

I loved my stay here. The location really was fantastic - Penn Station just across the road so very easy access to the subway - which is very easy to use. A lot of the New York attractions are walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was great too - our room was a junior suite, a little kitchen and...

For a last minute booking.. The service from Margaret at the front desk was just perfect. Since the first day we arrived to the hotel until at my checkout date. The studio room was perfect for my family. It was clean, perfect view to the Madison Square Garden and also loved the location near everything. Definitely am coming back in...

Originally booked a different hotel, took 2am bus to NYC from Boston to get to that hotel at 630am to rude staff and no reservations, so we searched area for hotels and came across the Stewart, the price was really fair and location was ideal, so we decided to book a room. After having a completely frustrating morning and being...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
