I stayed with friends for 4 nights on a girls trip to NYC. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was wonderful! It was clean and roomy. This hotel has a great location and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed the stay and will be back.

The hotel was modern and clean. Staff was was friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable... Two minor issues - it was too hot in the room, and there were no temperature controls; and there were inadequate shades - it was too bright throughout the night. Even the maintenance rep did not know how to regulate the heat.

Good location. Friendly staff. Good value. Many restaurants near by. Concierge desk available for show tickets and other trips. Nice breakfast buffet, not free. Our room still cools with a window air conditioner. Wifi not free. All in all, not bad, we enjoyed the stay.

I stayed with my daughter for two nights for work and pleasure. The reviews on this site are accurate: rooms are quite spacious for NYC, and there is an Old World feel to the place. Elevators are SLOW and small. We stayed because we received complimentary breakfasts, and the microwave/mini-fridge/coffee maker was quite nice to have. You can't beat the...

The location of this hotel is fantastic right in the heart of theatre land in Manhattan. The problem is the hotel is dated and reminds you something from the 80's. The staff are friendly enough but we upgraded our room for comfort but it still did not live up to the expectations of a really nice hotel. The guy at...

Our first stay here was in June of 2016. We rebooked for Christmas 2016 and just booked June 2017 for our 3rd stay here. It's our spot. It's on a low traffic, one way street and just a couple blocks from Times Square. There an Italian restaurant next door, a convenience store at the end of the block and the...

I checked in for a short visit and I did not get the room request I had asked for, so the manager came to the rescue and took care of everything. I did get one of the renovated rooms which was nice and spacious and the entire staff were wonderful. The location is perfect and close to great restaurants as...

We booked a hotel before this and was disgusted with the place (hotel Pennsylvania) so we booked the Belvedere Hotel and were relieved! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very comfortable. The hotel its self had a lovely look to it and was very clean. We stayed in room 516 and the room was...

Four college roommates reunited in NYC for a long over due reunion. The Belvedere was the perfect spot for us! Despite some trepidation about the staff (based upon other reviews), we could not have been more pleased. All staff members were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are newly renovated and typical size for NYC. Wish that the hotel had a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
