Stayed at this hotel in July 2003 for 2 nights but on different occasions-loved it! Nice looking hotel from the outside situated 2blocks from Times Sq in the perfect location. Also walking distance to the piers on the west side from which the boat tours leave. Beautiful and classy lobby with lots of space gives the guest the impression that...

Just returned from an overall very enjoyable 5 night stay at the Belvedere and am very happy to report I can find way more good points than negatives. The $165 per night rate I got back in Nov. from the hotel's own website a very good deal considering the prices went up the closer I got to arrival date so...

My daughter and I stayed there from 16th - 20th March. Our room and facilities were great. The hotel was friendly, efficient and safe. Within walking distance of the all attractions - we used the New York Sightseeing Bus, just around the corner from the hotel and had a great choice of restaurents in Restaurent Row, 2 blocks up. We stayed at the Belvedere March 9-14th. What a great place. Very close to Times Square. Theatres and restaurants are within walking distance. Very clean. Service from staff was excellent. The hotel had everything we needed and then some. When we return to New York we will definately stay here again.

This was a perfect hotel for a first time visitor (and will be our first choice for any future visit). The room was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. The location was perfect...within walking distance to the theaters and Times Square sites and close to the subway. It's proximity to markets coupled with the microwave and fridge in the room made...

The Belvedere was a bit rich for my blood, but it was money well spent. Be advised that the earlier you can book your hotel, the better chance you have of finding a lower rate. I was very close to Times Square, yet in a quiet location, and I always felt safe walking "home" at night with my daughter. The...

We stayed at the Belvedere for 5 nights at the beginning of February. The room was clean and after reading other reviews what we pleasantly expected. The bathroom is tiny but was neat and clean and hey, it is NY. Bath could have been deeper. The staff were friendly (especially the lovely Jerry), who helped us with directions/maps on arrival....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
