The Good: the location; the staff is friendly.
The Rest: It’s hard to explain, but the room is just uncomfortable—like a dorm room. The wash cloths are rough. The bathroom is cold and uninviting. I was on vacation, but didn’t want to spend time in...More

Came into the city for one night. Hotel was great! Service was great! Weather cooperated, so everything was in walking distance for us. Breakfast the next morning was excellent too!. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We look forward to seeing you next time you visit NYC
We stayed for four days in NYC and really liked the Shoreham because of its location and great service.
Of course, the Shoreham is no luxury hotel, but really awesone for a city trip with no need to stay whole day in.
We had a...More

I cannot believe people give this hotel four stars. First, the rooms are extremely small. This is no free internet, no coffee maker, no frig, no microwave, no desk and no choices for TV entertainment. I had a view of a brick building. We got...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
