Good value hotel in a fab location only minutes away from Times Square. Hotel decor is a little dated & rooms could do with a refresh but fine for just sleeping in. Would stay again if I was on a budget.

When my group organizer said they'd found a hotel in midtown New York for less than $150 a night, I was filled with dread. I'd lived in Manhattan for over 3 years and expected the worst. What I found at the Travel Hotel was an affordable, not super-luxury but quite clean and valuable place to stay. The rooms were modernly...

I stayed for one night. Parking on premises. Diner next door. Large king bed, clean, comfortable, nice pillow selection, big closet, great desk and chair, no reading light or coffee maker, shower hot and hair blower. Nice view of pool.

There must be blame for this for my local firm for booking a noisy site. I was working there five days. This is the nearest hotel. However anyone in this hotel will struggle to sleep. The beds are great. Nothing wrong with staff or hotel. Yes it is close to time square and theatres and hospital with blues and twos...

This is a good hotel. It is near Times Square and some decent restaurants. You don't need to pay so much money to go to Times Square because its just a walking distance. The rooms are decent, but it just doesn't smell plesant. Beds are abit hard. WiFi is so expensive it costs $6.99 (my dad told me that this...

We spent a week here in January 2017. The hotel is in a great location close to buses and several subway lines, so is ideal for getting around NYC. Many attractions within very easy walking distance including Times Square, theatres, numerous restaurants on 9th Ave and Circle Line boat trips. The deli/cafe attached to the hotel is very convenient for...

Great hotel with pool.Clean and comfortable.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is that the rooms are very dark. A ceiling light would be good.I would stay here again as it has the best cafe/deli next door with fabulous breakfast. We ate there every morning and the staff were just lovely.

Travel Inn has a very good location close to Time Square, it´s located in Hell´s Kitchen area. You can get Broadway, Fifth Avenue and many other remarkable places in Manhattan just walking around. The hotel is just good for getting some rest after walking during the day around the city. It´s an old building but in good conditions with comfortable...

Good location and reasonable price. Rooms were decent size, but beds were not comfortable. Bathrooms were small, as to be expected in NYC. Hotel has homeless folks living on one floor. Guess the city is paying their rent. There was a security guard on that floor and we never saw any of them. Would probably try to find another hotel...

We stayed here over the Christmas period, and could not have asked for anything better. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and very clean. There was hanging space, chest of drawers, a fridge, tv, microwave etc. The only thing missing was a kettle. The beds were very comfortable and it was a powerful hot shower. Great location on 42nd street and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
