This is the 3rd time i have stayed in this hotel and i cannot praise the staff enough. They are extremely helpful with any query and always say hello. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from Times Square and is an excellent location, particularly for the price. A great diner is attached for a fab breakfast at an extremely...

Stayed here on short notice with 3 friends after an AirBnB disaster. This place had parking, was close to the Times Square venue where we were seeing a show, and was not too expensive as NYC goes, so we booked. Parking lot entrance is easy to miss. Check-in was a bit confusing as we were given keys but told the...

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Hotel was in a great location - easy walk to subway and Times Square plus a CVS, diner, liquor store, and cleaners steps away made it SO convenient to make ourselves comfortable. Rooms were very clean, staff was helpful, and the rate was affordable! We will be back!!!

The hotel itself is worth it's price just in the parking! Where else on 42nd street can you park for $20.00 a day in a secure area! The hotel itself was not bad, certainly not luxury, but a decent bargain. The lobby smelled strongly of cleaner or cleaning solution. Our room was small but clean with 2 full size beds,...

Our first time in the US - so excited! But also terrified. Had read all sorts of reviews about 3-star hotels in Manhattan - and almost all were terrible. Decided to take our chances with the Travel Inn. All in all, I think we did OK. Not exactly cheap (USD 200/night including tourism tax and city tax), but we were...

My family and I have stayed there numerous times the past 10 years. My last trip there(last Sunday) I left my jacket inside the room. I called the hotel and spoke with the housekeeper and she told me that my jacket was there. I spoke with the office manager(unfortunately I don't know her name) and she immediately offer to send...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
