The room was well laid out and beautiful. I particularly liked the shower which was refreshing. The service was impeccable and the staff friendly and efficient. There was plently of room and having a separate entrance to the Towers meant that it was not crowded or full of people. It was a memorable stay in central Manhattan.

The service is exceptional: friendly, personal, and genuine. There was a slight mix-up in our reservation and without asking the reservations representative upgraded us without having to ask. The concierge was extremely friendly and helpful, as well.

I was going to be in New York City on the front and back end of a conference in Rhinebeck, and learned about the Waldorf Towers when I was booking my stay. Of course, I had always known about the Waldorf Astoria, but the Towers were unknown to me. Curious about this semi-secluded option with its private entrance, I decided...

We stayed at the Waldorf for our first wedding anniversary. From the outset, we were made to feel welcome with fantastic customer service, an upgrade to the Towers, complimentary continental breakfast and customised bathrobes to take home. Our room was luxurious, comfortable and visited by housekeeping twice a day. We were spoilt rotten and enjoyed every minute!

This was my second stay and I just love this hotel. I have an appreciation for history and architecture and the Waldorf has plenty of both plus an awesome location. Sadly, I have heard that the towers will soon become condos, so if you have yet to experience this wonderful place I urge you to do so soon!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
