While it's advisable to stay on a top floor due to noise, the hotel is in a great location and all of the staff is very accommodating. The beds are some of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever experienced. Ramona was especially helpful and kind.
My favorite NYC hotel. Friendly helpful staff ! Always enjoyable.. I have stayed at his hotel about a dozen times. I love the neighborhood, great museums and resturants. I would highly recommend this charming hotel.
For the amount you pay and the size of the the king room just way too small. I think I bumped into myself twice while in the room. Location not too bad but way over priced. Next year we will be looking for a different hotel.
Conveniently located near the family we visit, and very pleasant ambience. Caveat: they charge a $35 "urban fee" - for "water and wifi" - just another hidden cost to figure into the bottom line room charge.
The best in the upper west side. Cozy warm and so friendly. Rooms are always fresh clean and well equipped. Beds are beyond sleep worthy. Get a room with a balcony and the stay is complete. Orlando the doorman runs to Amsterdam to get you a taxi- BEST Everyone you come into…
"Higher floor if you care about daylight and or seeing a bit of sky"
"Just ask the Front Desk personnel for assistance. Ask for Vivek if he is on duty."
"great UWS location, prefer higher floors. Junior suite was spacious though did not have any views."
"12th floor was a good one for me. "
