I surprised my boyfriend with 2 nights at at the NYLO for Vday and we both enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a short NYC getaway. The king sized bed was perhaps one of the most comfy I've ever slept on, and I also loved the decor of the lobby. Would consider staying again.

I stay here 4-6 times a year -- always great! It feels like home. Rooms are great -- staff so nice -- and just a nice upbeat lobby. Very convenient to public transportation and just a 10 minute walk to Central Park.

Excelent location. Hotel amenities were really good. Nice room and good service, all people there was kind. Breakfast not included but it's not a big problem. Central park and natural history museum were a few blocks forma the hotel

The hotel was clean and everyone was professional. The room itself was not impressive. It was very small, just enough room for the bed. Luckily that was all we needed for our stay in New York. Overall average.

While Nylo seems to be a little out of the way, there is a lot going on. It is just a couple of blocks from the Natural History Museum and Central Park with multiple restaurants and shops along the way. Great restaurants in the same building, great grocery across the street along with two French bakeries and Beard Papa (best...

The price was low (for New York), the room was large, the staff was friendly, the location was outstanding. Although the room rate was unusually low because it was mid-February, this hotel is now my go-to hotel in New York.

Reserved a stay of 14 nights one month ahead. Upon arrival my room was not available. Transferred in a suite dirty and cold. No newspapers available.Front desk and bar personnel chaotic and ineffective.

Superior rooms are very small. tea/coffee maker in room was nice. The hotel is located on line 1 and Broadway so very convenient. A bit impersonal but staff is professional. For the price, breakfast would have been nice.

I stay at this hotel frequently and am always pleased by the condition, service and location. The location can't be beat and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable--much larger than your usual NYC hotel room.

We loved this hotel. Inexpensive, friendly, cool bar, lovely beds. Rooms on the small size but that's NYC. Great residential neighbourhood - just beware it's not central but the subway links are great. We didn't eat in the hotel as we were visiting family but restaurants looked fun. Ground floor bar/lobby area was popular and busy. Would definitely return.
