The staff are polite and helpful. The reception is desk s not always fully manned so sometimes it takes a little longer to speak to them. The room I hard was quite large especially by New York standards. Depending on where your room is positioned and how high up you are, you may be able to hear the traffic which...

Be careful when you book a room here as what we found out a double means exactly that!! No room to "swing a cat". You are offered an upgrade which we took at an extra cost but only for the large bed it wasn't much better than the first room. They say you have a microwave and small kitchen but...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of an organised tour. We were on the 17th floor and at certain times (mainly morning) it took a long while for a lift to arrive - and when they did they were usually full and simply stopping at every floor. Our room was pretty small but front side facing onto 7th...

Recently went to New York for work. The hotel is a little dated but the location and the staff make up for the decor. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels over the years that lack the warmth and friendliness that make this hotel special. At the end of the day for the price it is good value!

The room I stayed in(46) was not clean ,very dated and really shabby. The shower head was like something out of a sc- fi movie. The reception staff were not very pleasant...

My sister and I booked the hotel through an agent, and we both thought it was fairly average, which is inkeeping with the price. We had requested a twin room, but on arrival were told we had been 'upgraded' to a queen 'suite', which pleased us, but that we could not check in for another couple of hours. We went...

While the rooms are a little small they are clean, beds soft & service good and your in New York - 7th Ave! Bathroom clean with all...

Stayed in this hotel last week. Fantastic location. Next to Carnegie Hall. 3 streets from Central Park. Would highly reccommend to other travellers. You can easily walk to Times Square.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
