I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We stayed there for 4 nights in August and booked it as a value option as we would be out a lot. It turned out to be a great hotel. The hotels location was great for us - out of the way of the overly touristy center but only 2 short blocks...

More or less all New York hotels are expensive but this hotel has ok prices. I would say it is a 2+ hotel. The room was quite big, not a modern look but it´s clean and has all the basics you need. AC and WiFi included. Continental breakfast was also included and was ok with youghurt, cereals, bread, juice, coffee...

The room was small but very clean. The staff were very helpful. There was a good choice of bakery products for breakfast. The free wifi was also useful. The hotel was a little way from the main NYC attractions but still within easy walking distance.

Location of the hotel is excellent being mid-town close to underground, also easy to reach from airport saving the taxi money :) Althogh we received a smoker room for the first night - even if we checked-in with an 11 year old child and not asking specifically for such a room since we do not smoke - once we asked...

We stayed at the Ramada Eastside for six nights in July and can highly recommend the hotel. We found its location to be perfect: Not in the middle of the craziness of midtown Manhattan, but still close enough to major attractions. We could easily walk to most places in Midtown, and two subway stations are located conveniently close to the...

My wife and I took our italians relatives to New York for a few days when they visited us in Philadelphia. Finding a good hotel in Manhattan that does not break the bank is difficult. The Ramada New York/Eastside was what we needed...good beds, just enough amenities, clean, helpful staff and strategic location. Also, parking for $25 a day close...

Our stay here was wonderful! Fast easy check-in. Four of us were in a double queen room and we could all move around easily within the room at the same time. Comfortable clean beds & bathroom. Air conditioning properly functioned. The showers always provided hot water even after three other people showered ahead of me. Great location to subway stations....

The Ramada Eastside is not a budget Hotel but neither is it luxurious. The rooms are spacious and have a fridge and microwave. The beds are comfortable and staff were friendly and efficient. The only problem we encountered was that our a/c was not working properly. When my husband complained after we spent a sleepless, sweltering night he was immediately...

We chose this hotel based on reading other peoples comments on Tripadviser. The staff were very polite and helpful. As my husband and I have already been to New York before and knew hotel room sizes were not always that big, we were really surprised how big the rooms were. Our room was clean and cool (after we turned the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
