I traveled to NYC in August with my family. We chose this hotel because of the location to Grand Central Station. We did not want to stay in Times Square because of the price and too many people. The Roosevelt Hotel is in a great location for various points of interest. We took the Subway almost every day we were...

Thank you for your comments and review. Yes, MAD46, our roof top lounge, has amazing views, great food/drinks, and a lively crowd. Make sure to come back when we reopen this spring. We are happy to hear that your overall stay was great and we look forward to your next visit. Thanks again for your valuable feedback.

Really enjoyed my brief, and late night check in to the Roosevelt Hotel. The lobby was an amazing welcome into this historic property. Arrived late on 1/8 from La Guardia. Neighborhood seemed interesting and inviting, but went right to check in. Staff were very friendly - absolutely no line in to check in at 10:45 pm. Provided a room that...

I booked this hotel as a part of a flight+hotel combo in a travel website and it was a fantastic deal. It added just about $99 for the hotel on top of the flights cost (which were very cheap also) and it was a good night sleep. The location is great, the lobby is good, the room a tad too...

We made a mistake with our bookings & had to find an extra night accomodation in NYC over Christmas - New Year. We had been into the lobby of the Roosevelt which seemed very nice, so when we saw a reasonable price for one night we decided to go with it. Our room was very small, barely enough space to...

Thank you for your comments and review. Yes, rooms in NYC tend to be on the cozy side especially compared to other major cites. The heating system, like in many older buildings, is steam heat. Unfortunatly it may require several adjustments in order to make the room as comfortable as your may need. Thanks again for your valuable feedback.

I stayed here with my Mum for a week in NYC. straight away the staff were unbelievably helpful and the room we stayed in was gorgeous. It was a birthday present for my 18th so we asked them to put us up in a good room which they did. Room service was great and the lobby is stunning. I would...

We had a great week long stay at the Roosevelt Hotel for our first trip to New York. The location was fabulous - literally round the corner from Grand Central and very close to the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Centre and many other attractions as well lots of shops and restaurants. Our room was on the 18th floor and so despite...

Thank you for your comments and review. Like many older builings in NYC, steam heat is our main sorce of heat and unfortunatly it can make the room very dry at times. However, I am happy to hear that your overall stay was great. Thanks again for your valuable feedback and we look forward to your next visit.

This hotel is 6 blocks from Times Square, one block from 5th Ave, and 4 blocks to St Paddy's and Saks. There are several good restaurants nearby, not to mention Grand Central Station. The personnel are kind and very helpful the only drawback is that there is adequate food service but not much with in the hotel. The rooms are...

This was the fourth time we have stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel. The location of the hotel is great, right across the street from Grand Central Station via the Met Life Building. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
