Second stay at this hotel. The room size for Cozy Double Double was fine for the two of us. The bathroom however was very small and difficult to keep toiletries in a convenient spot. Easy to get to the subway and pleasant walk to many locations a tourist would want to see. Great rate on hotels.com. Main desk could have...

Thank you for your comments and review. Yes, our central location is our guests favorite feature. We are perfectly located for shopping, sight seeing, and anything you might want to see/do while in NYC. Thanks again for your valuable feedback and we look forward to your next visit.

The hotel room was very small. The bathroom was clean but old, it IS a very old building. Lobby was beautiful! I can only imagine the people a hundred years ago walking those old, famous halls! I liked the location close to Central Park and the horse drawn carriages. Many places to eat including a well known steak house.

The place is lovely to look at . The staff think they own the place. We did have to change rooms as we paid for Delux with king beds and arrived to Queen next to a Wedding party room. We had to ask for a kettle, hair dryer.since you get what you pay for in NY we paid and didn't...

The grand lobby of the Roosevelt was very impressive! The rooms were larger than we expected except the bathroom was extremely small (shower only). Beds were very comfortable, and it was quiet even though we had a street side room. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. The hotel is within walking distance to Times Square, Rock...

restaurant has very limited hours. would have liked morning meal in the restaurant and not the bar. prefer eating at a table over a sofa! The Sunday brunch is open for only 2 hours. The bar is lovely and serves adequate bar food. They got upset and made us discard food we brought from an outside food source to enhance...

You have to request a coffee maker and refrig at extra cost. Floor ice machine was out during our 4 day stay---staff said it had not worked for months even though a sign was posted. Inadequate outlets. Room and hallways were not clean. Bathroom was not of this century. Air conditioner just keeps running on low or high and barely...

This hotel is virtually a time machine. Not only the hotel design and decor is vintage, so is the staff with their classic mannerisms and service. But most of all, nothing beats its location, right besides grand central station with United Nations in the east and time square in the west. Easy walk ti 5th avenue shops and a further...

I stayed for 2 night during Labor Day weekend in a Cozy Queen room. Thank you for your comments and review. You are correct. We are not a 4 star hotel. We are actually a 3 star/diamond AAA rated property. Most reservation web sites has their own criteria for star ratings which is usually based on customer feedback and NOT the services provided. Also true, guest rooms in NYC tend to be on the...

Thank you for your comments and review. Our deepest apologies for any issues regarding Valet. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
