Thank you for your comments and review. Great advice about bringing thermal clothes as January is typically our coldest month of the year. We are so happy to hear that you will be back. Thanks again for your valuable feedback and we look forward to your next visit.

I was in NYC on the end of a long stay in an apartment when I needed to switch over to a hotel. Looked online and booked this place. I read the reviews on here AFTER I booked, which I never do I'm religious about checking this site first. Anyhow I began to think I made a bad idea in...

Thank you for your review and comments. You are correct, many things can be over-come or even over-looked as long as there is a smiling, helpful staff member. We are so happy to hear that it was our friendly staff that made all the difference and that you will return. Thanks again for your great feedback.

While they certainly could use some updating to the rooms, the location of this hotel is really second to none. During the slower months, you should be able to land a room here for around $100. The bar is top notch and the staff extremely friendly. My only complaint would be the older furnishings. But of course, for my $95...

I stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel this past weekend & recieved the most excellent customer service from Housekeeping Senior Manager, Andrea Charles-Duke. When we first reached our floor we were a bit lost so Ms. Duke took it upon herself to not only ask us what room number we were in, but she also walked us to our room and...

Stayed here for a week with my daughters - hotel very central and we were able to walk to a lot of attractions, restaurants etc, but also close to Grand Central Station and Subway to travel further afield. Room big enough for the three of us, with a rollaway bed - had a few issues with the rollaway mattress (not...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the first week of March for 5 nights and were very impressed having read a couple of negative reviews. Firstly the location is fantastic - you have pretty much everything on your doorstep and little distance to walk for most midtown attractions. If you were planning on exploring other areas of Manhattan, Grand...

The Roosvelt must have been a great hotel, long time ago. My room was shabby and outdated. The door-frame wood was rotten so the security chain actually fell-off. The wall paper was stained and peeling. When I called front-desk asking for help in operating teh heating, I was told 'somebody will come immediately. Took them over 30 minutes, while I...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
