The rooms are small, as is the bathroom and tub. Clean though, and well thought out. The T.V. doesn't come in very well, but rarely watched it anyway. Close to Penn station. Very convenient for everything. Korean area. Great noodles for late night snacks.Elevators are slow, breakfast is okay. Still and all, I'll be back. Good value.

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn Manhattan. The location was perfect. We flew into Newark Airport and took the train to Penn Station and then walked to the hotel (2 blocks away). $12.50 each. Much cheaper than taking a taxi or private car and much quicker. 30 minutes total. The subway stop is...

I stayed for one night on a Saturday night as I had a ticket for a play and needed somewhere affordable to stay. This hotel was by far the best hotel for the money for all my criteria. It only took about 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from Grand Central Terminal. And the weather was beautiful so there...

I read all the reviews before booking, and still got stuck in a corner room on the 12th floor. I figured that we were only in the room to sleep, so we would make the most of it. Unfortunately, the ice machine is so noisy it sounds like bricks are being dropped every 15 minutes, and the rooms are not...

Dear MandFtravellers, Thank you for your review. We apologize for the noise coming from both the bar and the ice machine. Our rooms vary in size somewhat, but most are about average for Manhattan hotel rooms, some are a bit bigger and others are a bit smaller. We always try our best to take guests’ requests for specific rooms into...

We arrived at the hotel after confirming we our stay a few times (because of other reviewers negative experience with lost reservation). We made sure our wee hours of the morning arrival wouldn't be an issue and were assured it wouldn't be. Upon our 2 am arrival we were told there had been a leak in the ceiling of our...

After a harrowing journey into the Lincoln Tunnel, it was great to pull up the hotel, not sure where to stop, or how to handle the car and have staff jump right out to help and guide us through check in/ park the car for us etc... Room was clean, beds were comfy, ac worked fine. NY City prices are...

Service is terrible. Reception staff are in considerate, rude and Obnoxious. Managerment couldnt care less about your problems or even if you'd ever go back to the hotel. There were rats in rooms on our floor. Overpriced for what you get.

This hotel was excellent value and very close to the Empire State Building, Times Square, Madison Square Gardens and Macy's. We were 2 adults and one child so stayed in a double double room which was immaculate, and very spacious. The breakfast is basic but enough to start your day off. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place...

and an unbeatable location for an affordable price. Will definitely go there again next time. We walked from there almost everywhere. The rooms aren't big but for a city trip there is all you need. The breakfast was OK. Nothing special except for the donuts!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
