We stay at this hotel or it's sister hotel next door every time we come to the Shakespeare Festival. That has been 21 years now. We enjoy the location as we are able to walk to all the shops on main street and walk down to the Shakespeare plays. The mattresses are super comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the El Rey hotel. The rooms were very tasteful, clean, comfortable and roomy. Great amenities and the breakfast was not your typical continental...many choices and service was extremely good. The staff went out of their way to help our family. Location is perfectly convenient - walked less than one block to enjoy the Shakespeare... More

Modest setting surprises with well appointed modern room. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, can walk to Shakespearean Theatre at SUU. I was pleased to see the TRIPAdvisor recommendation for this reasonably priced hotel. Room was quiet and comfy.

My family and I stayed here for just one evening on our way driving cross country. It was late when we arrived, but the front desk was pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean and the beds were super comfy. The room included a mini fridge and microwave; cable and air conditioning were also working fine. We left early the... More

We chose this hotel pretty much at random while traveling from Colorado back to California. We had no reservation so the price might be better with one. We paid about $100. The front desk called us almost as soon as we got settled to ask us to return to the lobby because their reservation system had crashed and our information... More

I am sorry there was an issue with your reservation. I am sure that the charges were not duplicated, but if there is something that looks out of place do not hesitate to call us. I am sorry this event had an impact on your stay. The chaperons and staff take every opportunity to remind the students that they need... More

A hidden gem in Cedar City, Utah - we were lucky we found this place. The town was almost full 9/25 with so many folks going to the National Parks. It looks like budget fair, but is -almost- as good as a Holiday Inn Express. Although older, the room was well appointed with nice linens & furnishings and very comfortable... More

We were traveling through, very tired, stopped at major chain hotel that wanted over $100 for room, forget that, stopped here, cheaper but no way compromised as it was extremely clean, no outdated design, in fact, walked in the room and thought very hip. Staff was beyond polite and friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to photograph nearby. Ended... More

Room was clean and okay. Nothing fancy. Small outdoor pool great for little kids. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Wifi worked okay. I would stay here again. This is a beautiful little town and you can walk to cute little shops and art stores from the hotel.

A very average hotel. The breakfast was below average. By 8:10, there was no butter and only 1 piece of fruit left. It did not appear anybody was restocking. The rooms were okay. I'd give the comfort of the beds 2 stars, and the noise from other rooms 1 star

Although this is an older hotel, it is very comfortable and has "necessities" of the modern world, i.e. Wifi, flat screen tv, many plugs for all the electronics.
