We just drive into lake casitas facility this week. I was surprised to see the beautiful views of lake.we did rowing in lake ($20 for small boat with no motor) which was not so expensive for 1 hour. It was our first time rowing . We enjoyed it. They have very peaceful, beautiful views for retreats. It will be our...

We recently camped at Lake Casitas for a family reunion. Forget about sleep - other campers (not with our group) partied until the wee hours (3-4 am) with no regard to anyone else. The site next to us had a shop light pointed directly at our tent - in what universe is that okay?

I disagree with the reviews that knock the staff at Lake Casitas. My experience was much different. The staff were friendly and flexible which was just what my trip called for being a first time rv camper. I am a single mom who decided that wasn't going to keep me from buying an rv this summer and taking my 13...

No one seems to care. Bad experience from check in to check out.Rangers have a bad attitude and have no desire to help.As a guest every contact I had with Lake employees I felt like I was a burden to them very bad vibe

I am not that person, so I was a bit disappointed. We went on a suggestion form a friend. Lesson learned. It is a very large facility with several different campgrounds. Some look more like refugee camps than recreational camping. They are so close together and very little shade. In the summer it is blazing hot. This is the first...

This was my 4th camping experience at Lake Casitas. The previous 3 were average, but the 4th one was a much better experience. Improvements from previous ones: 1) The restrooms were cleaner and it looks like they are now taking the trouble to clean up regularly. Always ensure you get the sites with flush toilets and avoid the sites with...

The site is a beautiful site. Camping is a horrible experience. Loud music 24 hours a day. Rangers do not bother to keep any rules. We were subjected to LOUD rap music with a F*#** or Suck words every minute. No respect at all. Never again. Our group spent one miserable night and did not stay the two nights we...

This Lake is going down the drain. Literally and figuratively. The drought is out of anyone's control, so that is not their fault. This company has made mistake after mistake over the years. First off, hiring some pathetic excuses for staff. I am not talking about the temporary lifeguards, and gate people they get in to cover when it's busy...

I decided to visit Lake Casitas for the first time this Labor Day weekend. My wife and I had some concerns because of some of the negative prior reviews. I most say that I was glad we did. My wife and I are advent campers. In fact: we had visited several neighboring campground earlier this year. I must say that...

This is a favorite spot for big groups who want to drink and carouse late into the night, blasting their music, without any concern that a park host of a ranger will get in the way of their fun. Our friends in the Creekside campground were kept up until 2:30 am by one group, and then another stared cooking at...
