We had read that the pickins were slim for decent hotels in willcox, and paid an extra $35 to stay the night here. We were so disappointed- Luke warm water for my shower, cold for my husband. They have the multi-use containers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner- which is fine, as long as they’re refilled. There was zero body wash and shampoo, and one squirt of conditioner. Unfortunately this is not something I think to check BEFORE getting in the shower, so that was a fun surprise. The breakfast was adequate, but the girl missed 3 things from our order (due to covid they have you fill out a written order and turn it in, then your order is boxed up to go), which required a trip back to the dining room. The girl was pleasant at check-in, and no bedbugs, so those are worth 2 stars.

Hello Natalia T, Thanks for choosing to stay with us among your many lodging options. We also appreciate your candid remarks. I am genuinely sorry to hear about both the shower’s water temperature and empty bathroom amenities. I also understand your displeasure with breakfast service experienced. Positive interactions is one of our pillars in ensuring an elevated experience for our guests. That said, I will immediately share your feedback with our hotel’s upper management for review and improvements in our amenities and services. We strive to make each stay more pleasant and comfortable as possible. It will be our pleasure to accommodate your stay once again should your travels bring you back in the area. Best, Kenneth F. The Holiday Inn in Willcox was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that our guest room had a full-sized bar of Ivory soap for our use. We had never seen that in a hotel before. Most give you those little slivers that last for one or two showers. Each queen bed had four pillows. The pillows were either firm or soft. The beds were comfortable. The only negative that I can add about the room was that the heater was a bit noisy. We turned it way down when we went to bed so it wouldn’t run. We were comfortable overnight without it. Breakfast was served cafeteria style. We handed a hotel employee a list of things we wanted for breakfast and she got them for us. The egg omelets were so-so, but the sausage links were delicious. The coffee cups were generously sized. We had the choice to eat in the breakfast room or in our room. We ate in the breakfast room with tables that were well distanced from each other. I enjoyed the fireplace in the breakfast room. It made our time in there cozy. The hotel had an outdoor pool for seasonal use. It is also conveniently located near I-10.

Being cramped in the car all day, we decided to book a suite at this hotel, and it was roomy enough for us to unwind after a long day in the car. The staff are very covid conscious. They wear masks, and there is plexiglass installed at the front desk. Our room was very clean and quiet. Their breakfast was wonderful. They have adjusted to all the new regulations - now you order what you want in advance and have the option of taking it to your room or eating in the dining room. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay because the staff was so exceptionally nice and helpful. The lady who makes the breakfast treated us like kings. Front desk staff and housekeepers seen in halls were all extremely pleasant. Room was basic and could use updating. Some decor/furnishings were clearly newer than others. Bed was pretty nice! Definitely new. Bath tub had a shallow dip where it looks like usage over time had led water to constantly pool in that dip. Very average hotel, not fancy, but no real complaints. Elevator floors were dirty. I also wish there was a hot tub, and not just a pool. Given limited lodging options in Willcox, would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a very nice, clean, comfortable place to stay for the evening. We were traveling from California to Texas and the room was perfect for what we needed. We walked across the street to the Pizza Hut for dinner. There are not many places to walk to for dinner. Only McDonalds, Carl’s Jr. and Pizza Hut. The place is not fancy but is comfortable. We would stay there again. Breakfast was included, not much to brag about but hit the spot.
