Our family from Beaufort SC, Orlando, Dallas and CT took up all 5 guest rooms and had a great time visiting. We booked the Garden View Room as an additional living area to congregate when we weren't out and about. Amy was very accommodating and their gardens and surrounding area is a great location for any kind of reunion.

Stayed here for a getaway for me and my Cousin on 10/1. We knew we would enjoy each other's company but had such an extra special time at the Marl Inn and in Yorktown! We started out at the wine festival and enjoyed the lovely location along the river. Everything is in walking distance and the Beach Delly and Yorktown... More

Me and my dad stayed at the Marl Inn for a night on our way south from Washington. The owners were excellent hosts and the room we stayed in was nice and cosy. The garden area was lovely and Amy, one of the owners, took her time to talk to us and recommended sights to see in the area. The... More

We were sent here by another local B&B who were full. What a lucky thing! We stayed Sept 7, 8, 9. So many of the sights were within easy walking distance, and was a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg. Also was an easy drive to the Mariner's Museum in Newport News. Everything was so clean, and so quiet at night.... More

We returned to Marl Inn to recharge. Enjoyed the river walk and beach this time. Relaxing 20 minute drive to Williamsburg for family. The room is immaculate and morning coffee in the garden delicious. Thank you Krista for making our stay very enjoyable!

The rooms are really clean & roomy. We stayed in the beach room (upstairs with plenty of room). My sister & her husband stayed in the Garden room (exceptionally roomy & clean). Amy & her husband, Paul visited with us in the garden area outside. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything is within walking distance or accessible to a trolley. The host and hostess were gracious and welcoming. The room was very clean with a skylight and another window creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. We hope to return next summer.

This was our first experience with any B&B...and honestly we didn't know what to expect. It was great! It was within walking distance of all of Yorktown's attractions yet was far enough away from the beach to be very peaceful and quiet at night. The room was small but did not feel cramped. Bed was comfortable, shower was good, everything... More

Everything about the Marl Inn was perfect! We called Amy on our way down and got into our room without a problem. We had a delicious breakfast with both Amy and Paul on Saturday morning and enjoyed talking about what to do with the day ahead of us. The entire experience was just right. We were completely relaxed, and felt... More
