We were unable to get reservation in the lodge, which was my first choice, but Mazama cabins were very comfortable and we ended up being very happy that we stayed in them. Our cabin was comfortable, the room was spacious, and it was a very quiet location. I think staying in the cabins was helpful to encourage us to see... More

These simple cabins a clean and well kept, but have no modern touches. A great place to stay and really enjoy all the trails and sites at crater lake. No refrigerator, no microwave,no air conditioner, just a simple and very relaxing get away. The store were you check in has a nice selection of snakes and drink, just make sure... More

I stayed in one of the cabins in Mazama Village - "F" which houses 4 separate cabin rooms for 4 sets of guests. It was laid out so that there was no adjacent rooms. Quiet. However, this is a 1950s room which has not been updated. No TV, no internet. Just a basic room - expensive but it is close... More

The cabins are just inside the southern gates of Crater Lake NP. We checked in early but we're told our room was ready but when we walked in there was still food and drink left in the room so we left and came back 3 hours later thinking that the room would be finished.

While visiting Crater Lake National Park, my husband and I stayed one night at this in-the-park lodging. While clean and safe, the room was overpriced for the amenities provided and its customer service overrated. Registration closed at 8 PM and did not open until 8AM, making it difficult for those travelling any distance or wishing to get an early start... More

The room was basic but it was clean and had everything we needed for a one-night stay. Although it is called a cabin, it was a room attached to three others. Noise was not a problem. There is no TV or telephone (no cell service either in our room) but the internet was free. Parking was directly in front or... More

The Cabins are located just inside the park south entrance. Thank God they have WIFI because without it you have only a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. This is as close to camping as you can be without staying in a tent. The Rim Village Lodge was booked and there are few other lodging choices without driving at least... More

At first glance, we were concerned that four rooms in one small building would be noisy but were pleasantly surprised that there was almost no transmission of noise from room to room. The room was clean and comfortable. At night, the remote location affords the dark skies needed to see the stars and we were lucky enough to have a... More

If you want to stay at Crater Lake and not sleep in a tent, there aren't many choices. This is a great location for experiencing Crater Lake, BUT that is about it. The room was spartan and shabby, with a stained carpet and very low water pressure. The mildew smell was so OVERWHELMING that we spent our evening walking loops... More

People often want to stay in the Crater Lake Lodge when staying in the park and that is nice and you should do it once. However, reservations can be a problem, there are always crowds, and the lodge can be noisy. A great alternative is the Mazama Village Motor Inn which is also less expensive than the lodge. The "cabin"... More
