Stayed here the night before a camping trip to Cumberland Island, and really enjoyed it. The hotel is right across the street from the ferry dock and the marina, and walking distance from the few shops and restaurants in town. We rolled in around dinner time, and had dinner in the saloon. There was a talented gentleman singing and playing...

My partner and I enjoy the ambiance of old architecture (this was built 1916) and vintage furniture - in this case, a Mission style fumed oak armoire, side table and a dainty lady's desk Yes, the furniture is old and worn but it spoke to us. The view from our window of the harbor included a glorious sunrise peeking through...

If you want to stay in an historic hotel you will like this one. Great location to many outdoor activities and decent restaurants. However the room was a bit dirty and extremely noisy. The hotel staff wasn't really helpful or knowledgeable about the area.

This hotel has seen its better days. The location is great and the hotel could be charming, but it is in dire need of repairs and cleaning. A thorough cleaning, patching cracks and holes, losing the tape fixes and a good air freshner would help this tired hotel immensely. It is a shame it has not been cared for because...

My family and I have stayed at the Riverview hotel 3 years in a row now on our way to Cumberland Island. we have always enjoyed staying in a piece of history. The hotel is 100 years old and the decoration and furniture are elegant and old. Really cool feel. they went out of their way to accommodate us this...

We chose to stay here because of the convenient location. We stayed in the Rockefeller Room overlooking the river. It is a beautiful spot! The location is within walking distance to restaurants, the ferry to Cumberland and the parks. We had a trip planned for Cumberland Island and we preordered a picnic lunch. They had it waiting for us the...

It's an old hotel but very quaint. Friendly people. Had a few drinks at the bar outside. The gentleman who checked us in hangout with us at the bar and telling jokes. We had a blast. So convenient to the ferry to Cumberland Island. I'd stay here again.

The Riverview Hotel is very quaint and very friendly. Built in the early 1900’s it has that old yet modern feeling. Jerry and Gaila Brandon, the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our group found the porch on the second floor to be ideal for a social gathering and a few beverages, plus the river...

The best part about this historic hotel was the complimentary breakfast before we went out to our fishing charter. The hotel was clean and quaint- no complaints. Our reservations were made just two weeks out, but the summer season has just ended. This place is usually swamped in the spring and summer.

Loved this old fashion charm. Antiques in the room and common area. Beautiful view of waterfront park. Excellent restaurant and happening little bar attached. Across the street from the ferry to Cumberland Island. Unique and quaint! 💜💜💜💜
