WoodSpring Suites Allentown Bethlehem

This was on check-in, used a swifter and a wash cloth from the room on my supposed clean room. After cleaning up a massive pile of dirt and hair in my room, I washed the floors and cleaned all the old hair out of the tub, sink bathroom floors. Side 1 of my floor cleaning.

I'm a career traveler and I was placed at the Value Place hotel for my contract. The staff was awesome, attentive and accommodating. I was always able to get someone when needed and they were always checking to make sure my stay was going good. This was my 1st time staying here but I know I would come back!

The accommodations exceeded my expectations. Mayra was a pleasure to deal with, and her staff was great! I normally don't ever give any place 5 stars but this hotel was clean, budget friendly and perfect for our needs. We needed a week in a hotel while we had some work done in our home and this hotel was just what we needed.

Requested a high floor away from the elevator, ended up getting the closest room to the elevator on the first floor. Walls were super thin, heard the housekeeping dryer running all day and night. Room was filthy upon check in. Beds super uncomfortable, would almost rather sleep on the floor if it wasn't so dirty. No housekeeping, must ask for new linens at the front desk... that's if someone is there. There is usually a long line at the front desk because she is the only one there, staff wise, for the entire hotel. Not to mention, they have limited hours, without a key drop box, we had to drive back to the hotel to check out during the time they were there, even though we had left ast 0600. You have to empty your own trash by taking it to the dumpster. Worst place we've ever stayed!

Last night at check in the lady at the front desk told me that with a pet it would be $61 extra and if there was no damage that $50 would be returned. Upon checking out the lady at the front desk in the morning said that the information was not true and said that she would have a talk with the lady at night. If I knew this I would not have stayed. I’m really dissatisfied they didn’t help in anyway even tho it was their error in giving me the wrong information at check in. The room was left in perfect shape upon checkout. Would not stay here again due to them not acknowledging that their own worker passed on wrong information.

My family and I were scheduled to stay here for 6 days due to a work relocation. The policy online states they allow small dogs and cats under 80 lbs for $10 per night. When we called to inform them we would have our cat for 1 night due to not being able to make the boarding check-in, we were told that there is a new "no cat policy". Now we are searching for somewhere else to stay until we close on our home. Stay away from hotels and suits that can't even keep their policies up to date.

Upon arrival the place looked a bit sketchy. A lot of people just sitting around the building hanging out. We contemplated on finding another hotel to stay at. We then decided to check-in and give it a try. Worst mistake ever! The room was filthy , after sanitizing everything including the floor the Lysol wipes were black. The hallways reeked of the drugs being smoked. Fighting and arguing went on all night in the parking lot . Then around 2 am someone kept pounding on our door. Needless to say first thing in the morning I called the front desk to tell them there was no way we were staying for the second night. We were traveling with children and this was definitely not the environment we would like to be in. The clerk told us that there was no way he could refund us . I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager. After going back and forth he finally decided to give the refund but when I got home and checked with the credit card company it was only a partial refund. I am now disputing the charge. This was definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at!!!!

Booked for 7 days- drove 20 hours- checked in exhausted at the 4016 Christian Spring Rd location. It was disgustingly dirty (see photos- grime, scum, and you can guess what else!). Unruly, unpleasant tenants were up all night wreaking havoc and making noise. Fire alarm went off and the hotel had to be evacuated in the middle of the night. Checked out early and was denied full refund. Don't book this location. Photo descripts: Dried gunk on bed frame, yellow soiled bed comforter, hairs in the sheets, sticky floors, foul smelling splatter all over fridge and in sink, poorly covered graffiti on walls.

Absolutely filthy! See pictures to see what you can expect from your deep cleaned room when you check-in. Women's hair all over bathroom, floors turned wash cloths black. Garbage everywhere from lobby to elevator to room! Filthy! Filthy!

In addition, bought some frozen meals, meat, etc... placed in freezer on coldest setting, everything thawed and was ruined.

Went to take a shower, women's hair all over the tub and bathroom. Deep clean and I can pick hair off the shower floor, soap ledge, bathroom floor.

Literally had to wear shoes until I was able to go back to storage and grab all my cleaning supplies to clean my own room to something that would be considered "acceptable"!

Booked this place at the suggestion of comfort Inn staff- they were fully booked. Got to the room and found 1 full sized bed and not much more. The sheets and cover were frayed. There was thumping from the ceiling. Nothing seemed well cleaned. There were a total of 2 thin towels. The TV was very old and had almost no channels. My wife immediately decided that she would sleep in her clothes on top of the sheets. Instead we left. The young man on the front desk did not seem surprised that we were leaning. He said that he would refund my card - but I will be checking. A seedy experience at best. Stay away.
