We stayed in Suite 3 for a night while looking at Lehigh and Lafayette. We chose the Sayre Mansion over the Hotel Bethlehem because it sits between the business district and Lehigh. (As an aside, Fegley's and the Apollo are excellent choices for lunch and dinner, respectively). The Inn suggested the Apollo and it is a great find. Hotel Bethlehem...

Thanks for staying with us while you were in the area checking out some great schools. We hope you search was successful and you return to our area often! We would love to have the opportunity to share more about our inn and the Bethlehem area with you next time.Getting to know our college families during their tenure is really...

Everything was wonderful, from the warm welcome by the owner and Lola (the Bichon), the period furnishings, and the great breakfast. We felt right at home and would highly recommend your place to others! The bathroom shampoo, conditioner and cream smell heavenly! This is a perfect location, quiet but near to the town of Bethlehem with great restaurants and shops.

We were in Bethlehem to catch the Idina Menzel concert at the Sands Event Center and so booked for just one evening at the Sayre Mansion. It's wonderfully located - just up 3rd from the Sands and 2 minutes across the bridge into center city Bethlehem. Check in was quick and efficient with a very friendly and accomodating host. Our...

So nice to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Sayre Mansion. We hope you will find more events to keep returning to Bethlehem. I hear you about the needing more space in the bathroom - we will work on that!

I had a reserved a room for this evening, but with the impending snow storm my meeting was cancelled for tomorrow. I immediately got in the phone to get a flight out before the snow hit, and Jean, the Keeper of the Inn for the evening, refunded my money considering the crazy circumstances. My original room choice wasn't available, so...

My husband and I visited the Sayre mansion for my birthday weekend getaway. We chose Bethlehem because neither of us had ever been to the area and it was very close to Christmas so we wanted to experience Christmas city. The area had just experienced some snow and ice which made the parking area very dangerous. At the time of...

We are sorry that you did not feel that Sayre Mansion met your expectations or Select Registry standards. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations and when we let someone down we take it very seriously. We have thoroughly read your review and shared it with our staff. December is a very busy time at Sayre Mansion but we would...

I can't say enough about this place. My partner and I are in town to visit his son at Lehigh University and decided to stay at the mansion overnight. We were not disappointed. 12 foot ceilings, Solid wood wardrobe with 2 robes hanging neatly in it. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Will definately stay here again.

This was our second stay here, which is now our favorite place to recover after dropping our son off at Lehigh. Lovely historic atomosphere, with each room unique, and an indulgent breakfast. Staff is friendly, beds are comfortable. If you prefer uniformity of a chain hotel, go with the Hyatt, but if you'd like to experience some local feel and...

Loved our stay here. Definitely better than an impersonal hotel. We loved spending time in the living room - there was a gas fireplace, Christmas tree, music, an adorable dog, complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate and cookies. Generally very cozy. We stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking the Steelstacks. Room was spacious enough for us, though it can get a little hot...

The Breakfast part of B&B was excellent. Very comfortable setting. Quaint old building. I am not from here so don't know and don't appreciate the history. The lobby and seating are was nice (gas fireplace going). The service at front desk and for breakfast was excellent. Meeting room area in basement was cool looking. But - the Bed part of...

We travel to Bethlehem every December and usually stay at the Bethlehem Hotel, but decided to change up this year and stay at the Sayre Mansion. Bed and breakfasts are not really our thing, but our room was VERY large and beautifully arranged. Room 20, in the front, overlooking all of the Bethlehem Steel stacks area. People were very friendly....
