We stayed at the cabins a few years ago for the first time and fell in love with this little gem. The cabins are rustic, clean and well equipped. The best part was the location! Placed right in the middle of the forest, steps to Lake Mamie and a quick walk to Lake Mary! View...view view.. and the most affordable...

My husband and I stayed in room 4 at the lodge. It was a small room, but decorated very nicely. Good size bathroom but the vanity was meant for a child. Very short with the mirror in a very awkward spot. Not to worry, there's another mirror on a wall close by. Queen size bed with comfy covers. No tv...

We were going to camp in Mammoth Lakes but there was a Blues Festival and everything was booked. We happened to drive by this place and there was not a NO Vacancy sign so we stopped by and they had a room. It was a beautiful, quaint and friendly place. I would highly recommend it. The rooms are large and...

Wildyrie Lodge is an awesome little spot, and we were lucky to find it. Tucked against a smaller lake (Lake Mamie) next to larger Lake Mary and in the vicinity of all that Mammoth Lakes has to offer, the Lodge offers a place that feels like home as a base to explore the region. After taking an extended road trip...

We've stayed three times at this resort in the past three Septembers. If your are going to stay in the Lake Mary area of Mammoth, which is few miles out of the town and 1000 ft higher, there are four choices among resorts that rent cabins on a lake: Tamarack Lodge on Twin Lakes, Crystal Crag Lodge on Lake Mary,...

We have these antique matched and hoped to find the lodge still existed. Happy to see its well run and still being enjoyed out there in Monmouth Lakes! These matches reside in Jacksonville Fl and currently employed in very important work...lighting our Christmas Eve dinner candles. Hoping everyone is having as nice a time as we are. Very merry to...

I've stayed at Wildyrie Lodge twice; once this summer and once in 2012. Both experiences were relaxing and a true escape from our day-to-day lives. Cabins are scattered about the lovely woodland within view of Lake Mamie. The interior decor is tasteful and adds to the tranquility of the space. Having a full kitchen made the trip so much easier...

We recently got back from our annual summer vacation at Mammoth Lakes and had a fun and relaxing week. We’ve spent a lot of time in the Eastern Sierras and our favorite spot is Wildyrie Lodge by Lake Mamie. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and steps away from the lake. Sometimes we hang out on the porch and read, eat...

“Room 4 was a small room, with a big bathroom. It's at the top of the stairs so might be noisier when they're busy.”

“Cabins further from the lake actually have nicer views because they're higher up. Cabin 6 has a funky, dank smell -- choose another.”

“We stayed in room #1 which was lovely with a nice window view and a queen bed. There are 3 other main lodge rooms upstairs, 2 being queen beds and one with 2 twin beds. Soon they will have a room only with twin beds that would be great for children sharing their parents bath. All have nice windows with forest views.”
