We had a wonderful time. Our new managers Jeremy and Lonnie are wonderful. They greated us with masks on and totally organized. We were able to check in early and were told our room was totally sterilized throughout this pandemic. We have been here several times so as a returnning guest I wasn't sure due to the covid-19 rules and us being of a dangerous age. My self 67 my husband 75, but we relaxed after we checked in to see that all precautions were adhered to. We had 3 days to visit where our coffee, and breakfast were delivered to our room with Jeremy wearing gloves and a mask. I felt completely safe. We even returned on our way home to las vegas as a rest stop in between and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and relaxed they made us feel. It was like being home again and we will be returning in a couple months to enjoy their hospitality once again. Kudos to you Jeremy and Lonnie and Freda our room maid for making us feel at home and safe. Yvonne and Steve

I loved their contact free check in. Why can we do this all the time. I think if they replace their old carpet it will look so much better and will be more comfortable for guests. Even though it's an old motel I feel like staff are doing the best they can and we enjoyed our stay. Since covid-19 most motels and hotels are charging the same price but not serving breakfast but this inn delivered small but tasty breakfast burrito, apple, granola bar and coffee. (2 choices and coffee or orange juice) and I felt like they care. It seems like they are very organized and everything went very smooth. Whether you have a good night sleep or not is really up to guests next door or upstairs and we got lucky. It was so quiet and peaceful. Supermarket and restaurants are walking distance too. As long as you're not looking for luxurious hotel this inn is pretty cozy.

We had room 6 at this friendly B&B, the room looked out over some pine trees at the back of the building. There was an armchair, a table with 2 chairs, a very comfortable king size bed with side tables and sockets for charging. The room also had a toaster oven, a fridge and freezer (quiet) and a microwave and a worktop with a sink. No tea or coffee making but my wife microwaved water to make tea and I went to reception where there was always a coffee pot on the go. The bathroom had a separate sink area with room for all your bits and pieces and a bath with a shower. The shower had the best water pressure I found in our many days of travelling. It didn’t quite knock you across the bathroom but was powerful! We loved it, after lots of driving it was a relief to feel really clean. My ocd detected some interesting diy attempts but they were endearing rather than annoying! There was no a/c but it wasn’t necessary, the room has large sliding windows with bug screens and there was a nice breeze coming through the room. There is also an outside door leading done some steps to the side alley. Best not to have this open at night as there is bear activity in the area.

Breakfast is in the main reception area. There are several tables as well as 2 sofas with tables. It is billed as simple but it’s really more than that. I was so pleased they had a creamy fat free yoghurt and granola which suited me perfectly. There was bread and a toaster, butter, peanut butter (of course) and a couple of hot stainless steel things with lids (I forget what they are called) with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Two filter coffee pots with proper coffee and hot water for tea. It was lovely, after spending time in 4-5 star hotels where you sit in a stuffy dining room and have to order off a menu, this was a refreshing change. For dinner we walked a very short distance to the Pizza and Tap which has a wide range of local beers on tap and good food. There is also a sports bar and grill but it was too noisy for us. There is also a row of shops which include a coffee shop.

This is a place run by young people who are doing a great job. I imagine its a snowboarders heaven in the winter. There are two new buildings to the side of the building which will add capacity.

My husband booked here because he saw some good reviews. The reviews I saw were all from 2017. 4 years makes a difference.
I know Covid-19 has caused a few changes but does it really make it so no one is in the office here? They left everyone’s keys and info in an envelope outside. The info sheet says we will get a grab and go bag for breakfast - they need to take “full breakfast “ off of the website. It also states it is first come, first served from 7:30 to 8:30.
The hotel is old and creaky. You hear all movement in adjacent rooms. I was afraid the toilet was not going to flush. It took 4 attempts before it flushed, The counter sink filled and took forever to drain. I have not used the shower yet but I am not expecting much. The curtains were hard to close and left gaps. I would not stay here again.

I used to live in Mammoth and always had my family stay at the Cinnamon Bear when they came to town. I moved 16 years ago and stayed only once about 14 years ago. I didn’t think to check reviews or call my friends prior to booking. I was very disappointed. The Inn seems to have not been updated in that entire time. The carpet is old and stained, the furniture is worn and belongs in a thrift shop. The bathroom reminded me of my old apartment in the 90’s. The mattress was ok, but the pillows were a mismatch of uncomfortable. The walkway upstairs to the room is creaky and soft in spots. I understood the Covid change for a contact free breakfast, but was disgusted when I saw the space that used to be the lobby, seating area. And again disappointed that they didn’t even try to offer variety for breakfast, just the same breakfast sandwich every morning. If you’re looking for a two star reasonable room that is clean, this is a good choice. If you’re a B&B fan looking for personality, service and style, this is a poor choice.

We spent four nights in mid July. Lannie and Jeremy were very honest and helpful in providing an accurate portrayal of the limitations and status of their establishment and the Town of Mammoth Lakes during the Covid 19 situation. The fresh made breakfast sandwiches delivered to your door (as compared to the usual dining room experience) were good but could have had more of a variety over the four mornings we were there. We had room 14 which has a private entrance and a fine view of the forest behind the the B and B. The room was clean and appeared sanitized and was comfortable. We were in town with our electric assist mountain bikes, kayaks, and hiking stuff, and used all everyday.

The Inn made us feel very welcome and they are very organized during Covid. No contact check-in was simple and efficient. The manager came outside and greeted us at our car with his mask on. The property is very quaint and clean. Nothing fancy, some antique furnishings. The night before, you text in your breakfast order from a few choices. Our breakfast was cooked to order, hot and hand delivered to our room with good size coffees with lids. Cute paper bags were decorated with artwork and a warm morning welcome.

This place is great and we would definitely stay again. We stayed in room 6 (King suite) with a faux wood burning stove and cute vintage-looking fridge and microwave in the kitchenette (no stove or regular oven or plates/utensils). Composite wood flooring and windows on two walls. Comfortable bed and bedding. Very cozy and cute. It had a back door to the parklette next door for our dog to romp. Hot coffee early (from 6:30 a.m.) was much appreciated. They were also serving eggs and French toast, but we didn’t eat. Cons: We could hear the people moving around upstairs—lot of creaking — which wasn’t a problem for us, but might bother some. There was a hot tub, but it didn’t have a cover in the snow, so it looked a little murky for our taste. They had shovels for digging ourselves out of the snow, but the parking lot didn’t get plowed for a long time.

The location was good, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was very good. But it is a cute, but rundown hotel. The internet didn't work in our room, we could not set the water temperature in the shower (it was either cold or way too hot), and there was usually no hot water in the sink. The microwave didn't work because the outlet was defective, and the gas stove/ heater didn't work. If they could do some major maintenance, it would be a great place to stay.

Stayed here on a Saturday night in Room 2 which was on the ground floor with 2 queen beds. Room had a sofa, fireplace, closet, fridge and microwave. Check in was on time even though they are short staffed. Innkeepers were friendly. Breakfast was included with items such as eggs, French toast, cereal, fresh fruit and toast. Cozy lobby with fireplace, piano, and board games. Wine was available for purchase, and there was a hot tub. Free parking and short drive to restaurants and shops. Ski area, Devil’s Postpile, June Lake, and hot springs nearby. Cute inn and good value for the area.

Ditto, the hot tub was working in July but I did not use it and it was at a different building than my room. I had the same thought that it would be a great treat after hiking for 10 hours but my personal schedule didn't permit and the bath in my suite was so comfy I didn't feel I missed out. Regarding the post about breakfast, I thought a made-to-order, homemade breakfast of waffles/pancakes and eggs was actually pretty sweet. Cereal is an option but they usually had a warm breakfast offering if you show up on time. Hot tea and coffee all day in the lounge by the fireplace. Great Inn.
